  1. are you using a Cambiun saver/friction saver?
  2. I climbed on a prussick for about the same....its just a different approach. Straight central pull into the zigzag and let go...practice that....the closer to your anchor you get you will be able to use hand to move up.
  3. Both hands above the Zz...pull the rope into the device and as long as you have enough rope weight below you it will self tend...the higher up you go the easier it becomes.Use the zz with a pulleysaver and it becomes even easier! Bodythrusting is not needed with this device....if you are finding the technique difficult at first, use a pantin to help you go up!
  4. Happened in February...I used to race along here.
  5. Getting back on the bicycle.have neglected it since getting tbe pick up.so i've been visiting all my oldtracks....that is until my way was blocked.
  6. I love my Spiderjack.have done for 2 yesrs. But what i REALLY like about the ZZ is when on limb walks or decending..you can fine tune the friction so delicately...very prussick like...
  7. 13mm is far to snug a fit in my oinion...for best results...11.7 self tends beautifuly! Agree with OMT...11 mil would be tough to grip (unless you have very small hands)
  8. A lesson in being a good human.
  9. It teally was out of this world...the micro G enviroment and the viewing gallery, the way the were able to do the serious work as well as keep a good ense of humour up there....the views of pmanet earth! One astronaught descibed the view as "what heaven looks like"....very thought provoking event......they even have a "robot nurse".......I want to go to space!!
  10. Yep it's Brancpeth Castle...and he certainly does know how to stack.like I said...he does this 365 days a year!
  11. The weather has been beautiful of late. Today feels like a scorcher already, if a little Gusty. Yesterday I got my first climb on the ZZ2.it is exactly like the prototype so I was not suprised how awsome it is...took the Go Pro. Installed my anchorpoint from tbe ground...pressed record....."Sim Full"...hate it when that happens:mad:...going to try again today...Everyone has been affected by the storms in some way.there is a castle near me and it rents out the rooms. This chap I know basically hunts out firewood, all day, EVERYDAY! He supplys the occupants with logs and he gets to live there.he is rather pr-occupied with log production ALL the time. He does it all by hand. He is a little eccentric and slightly obsessed by wood.he has been very busy clearing the castle grounds of windblown stuff etc...
  12. Well.....it's certainly very colourful:)
  13. That was great! Nice control of the timber.
