  1. 135 ft poplar job is a great vid by Steve👍👍👍
  2. I would say (after over one year of Protos use) that i have never had any of it catch during climbing, dragging or chipping...quite the opposite...i couldn't go back to using anything else.Solid and well built lid....
  3. Ian Flatters...Reg Coates...Mistahben...Climber Giorgio Fiori...Ace tree...the list for me is endless.
  4. Thanks Paul Wetheridge @ Lyons work and rescue for my Mark 3 ZigZag which arrived today. It feels such a personal device to me. I recieved one of the first original ZigZags into the country thanks to Arbtalk and i will always keep that one for sentimental reasons.I paired it with Yale Blue tounge which i gad been using for a while with my Spiderjack and it felt perfect and i am still using it today.I was lucky enough to trial the Mark 2 prototype.I have missed using it during the last week or so and although i enjoyed climbing on a prussick again this mechanical device is in another league when it comes to moving about a tree......
  5. Getting new shoes for the 6 tonner.....this garage has a great tasting coffee for only 30 pence and you get a little biscuit and sonething to read....
  6. I like all aspects of tree work but a mechanized monday makes or an easy day.
  7. And tracking this in means grinding will be even easier!
  8. Arriving on site behind this machine reminds me that the chipping will be a doddle..
  9. I don'r remember much about the previous three weeks due to a the bug i had...so glad it's gone. Going through pictures on my phone i loaded up the woodchip with the panoramic at some point...what a difference i feel this week! Healthy and full of beans.Yesterday we did some clearance.I really like this as it's great excercise and tve day goes very quickly...
  10. They are many Protos users out there now.....who cares what they look like....they never get caught up....and protect your skull to the max!
  11. Don't have the noise cancelling of say, Sordin /msa Chipper spec defenders but adjust the pressure on the dial to suit.
  12. Been wearing one for over a year now....they are very comfortable and Arbordynamic 😆
  13. Never seen the Arbortrolley with hi-vi "golf clubs" a lot easier to spot.....always liked the big tree trucks of Davey Trees and Asplundh.....bit my favourite picture would be the monster Rayco grinder
  14. That's unlucky Ben.. .the DMM Vault locking system does look safe
  15. Yeah,that look on your face Andy!😆😆
  16. Kevin, that looks like food for the Gods! Absolutely mouthwatering especially the lamb and the single malt
  17. I like the "Shembiner" but i cannot fault the Caritool...have a large one on my right side for saw handle/ring which is perfectly intact after a couple of years and a small one on my left side for pulley saver....gear and stuff
