  1. I don't feel settled unless I have my thread up to date and this month has been exhilarating to say the least after the grinding hault of lockdown. After my week at Beechwood I have momentum in my life again. So to continue from where I left off.....Although I had met Simon on a few occasions usually at the Arbshow the crew here were all new to me...with the exception of this lad.Last time we met was about ten years ago when we both worked at City Suburban in London. It,s always so nice to see people I have connected with still in the industry.Alex was always a friendly face down South and as positive a character as he ever was.Having a happy atmosphere in the yard first thing in the morning makes all the difference.
  2. Austria 1 and 2 were always my favourite harnesses. Were the connectors "Euroline" on the 3.2?
  3. And later idid indeed bump into Joe Newton.Had a blast with his ported Husky. And he actually gave my some great advice regarding a journey I will be making✈ A very cool Tree fella.Have a great weekend Arbtalkers!
  4. After all that rain we are blessed with a Sunny day today....
  5. And I need to get the mask removed I've been wearing it that long
  6. Steve I have yet to share the front cover of my bucket list book....But will in time...Epic would be an understatement?
  7. Big thanks to Simon Rotherham. He has always said that I would be welcome to come and do some work with Team Beechwood and not even the heavy rain could spoil today Great Crew with an excellent energy about the place which suits my style of work.
  8. So where am I?....right at the top of my bucket list of course!
  9. Breakfast for the last several weeks has been the same every morning.I can thoroughly recommend it.Wholegrain rolled oats soaked overnight in oat milk and with a single thin square of Cocoa chocolate.
  10. Absolutely hammered it down with rain through the night but still this little tent resisted every single droplet and I got a good Six hours peaceful sleep.
  11. Really looking forward to meeting the Team in the morning.I already know my tent can stand heavy rain and I love being amongst the elements.Makes me feel alive.
  12. Doing what I love best.Searching for work with people I have yet to meet. With my Adventure of a lifetime on hold(But looming and is mist certainly worth the wait) ,an offer of some work from someone i met a year or so back.I have admired this company for some time now and fate has brought the moment to right now.Rain or shine!☔☔☔ Anyway I have arrived with time to set up camp.
  13. So as I drank my espresso I began preparing for an adventure away from the confines of Fox tower.
  14. As I looked out of the window into the morning sky I could sense my future out there on the horizon.
  15. Yesterday was a good day....And it started off well.My Grandson and I have missed each other but Fortnite and Video calling have kept our bond strong.I know that one day we can explore the real world together again. Not just the virtual world.
  16. Try the 161 and then the 220[emoji298][emoji367] I dismantled this tree then felled the trunk using only those two battery saws on less than a full charge each...easily.
  17. Beefy Rig! [emoji106][emoji106]
  18. Great to hear you are back at it Big J. I,m currently into my first month of re-training after being inside 23 hours a day over the course of the Pandemic.I only have dumbbells but I am trying to get lean again and have shed 10 kg through cycling and a return to healthy eating.Lean muscle mass is my goal.
