  1. we have alot of myxy in the dumfries area, i have something around 1500 - 2000 achres of ground, we use a cz.22 a .243 for the foxes and my theoben rapid 7 mk1 which is around 25lbft. weve not been out for a while as we cant sell the rabbits just now but the last time we were out we shot around 20 with myxy which makes us no money at all because our game dealer wont accept them even tho myxy has no effect on humans. myxy was introduced to reduce the population but 2 me its just a nuisence
  2. could this be in house training ? that will only be recognised to the specific employer and the ticket cannot be used else where ? i had an in house forklift ticket when i worked at wolseley, i already had my ticket but i had to do the in house aswell

  4. at college we are taught 2 have a permanent marker or something similer to mark the tooth we start on, i did an 064 in my cs30 n the lecturer was suprised at how quik i did it and how good a job i did lol, think it had a 30 ish inch bar on it. we use the file guide and the chain packet for the information
  5. so will proting reduce the life of the saw ? ive been hearing alot about exhaust mods etc for more power and if there are more pros than cons il do it 2 my saw wen i buy 1 or 2 or more

    i dont have much experience with saws as yet but i use the 357xp at college and love it, very fine line between that and a 034 stihl. wat is it you dont like about them ? im not keen on the 353, seems to jump alot when doing bore cuts
  7. does this not cause stress on the engine ? overheating etc ?
  8. my dad has an old echo brush cutter, weve had it 17 years lol its never been serviced really, i put a new spark plug in it n thats about it, fair enuf its not used daily but it has had alot of work and its still going strong

  14. im a wood turner n 2bh il turn with anything, not a fussy bugger at all lol but because i dont know very many arborists or anythin i dnt seem 2 find to much timber easily without going 2 dealers which can b very very costly specially wen i c a fancy foriegn timber that has a fancy colour 2 it

    stihl 441

    i havnt had a go of a 441 but i have used a 357xp, i like the 357 power to wieght is nice. ive used a 341 and i like them 2. is the 357 more powerfull than the 341 ?

    prob summat to do with it being 3 quid a pint lol. the company (dryfdales) is that far from where i like, they are from lockerbie and i am from dumfries, bout 11 maybe 12 miles away

    i wore my chainsaw boots 2day, glad i did as the terrain is a bit rough at times lol and they are sooooo comfy, like wearing trainers

    apf was brilliant, well it was for me having never been to anything so big before. we all got plenty of freebies and loads of info. went and met justin at f r jones, very nice man and im sure he will read this, cheers for the hat m8y
