  1. as far as i know weve got a big old beech to fell, if i remember corectly its got beech bark disease, happy days

  3. been snowing here, the frost hasnt lifted since saterday morning lol. was climbing for te first time 2day and my hands were numb with cold lol

  6. i like the 353 the 346 and the 357. been felling with the 353 for a few days n its a nice we saw, perfect wieght for snedding, lacks in power a little for bigger trees but gr8 saw all the same. absolutly love the 357xp tho, plenty power without being to aggresive
  7. if you are charged vat on boots, you can claim it back if you are self employed
  8. ye its kinda annoying coz we were felling in a forest with loads of windblow on monday n teusday
  9. as im at college it is compulsery that we wear gloves while cutting. i have windsor gloves but the protection has started to fall out of the left hand glove and ive barely used them. anyone know of a good sturdy chainsaw glove that will last till the end of my course ? also the have to be cheap

  17. i shoot with a silver pigeon 20 bore, absolutly love goin to the rookerys with it, such a nimble gun well balanced and prety acurate for a shotgun. nottried pheasant shooting yet, have done a fair bit of beating tho for syndcate shoots and proper £1000 a day shoots
  18. poor way of portaying the situation ? the point in me putting this vid up was to show how much safety and ppe has come along over the years. my grandad worked machinery like that when he was in the woods, no ppe at all except a hard hat when they were eventually introduced
  19. no not at all, we get it drummed into our heads at college about all these differt chains and bars and all sorts, i dont like the ramped hobby type chains but im just making the point of all these things are in lace for our safety, it is then up 2 the oprator weather they use them or not
  20. yeah think you got 2 b a wee bit brave n not quite sane to use 1 these days
  21. and low kick back chains, different bar designs different cutter designs different metals used for the chain
  22. im not saying hes doing anything wrong btw, im just highlighting the lack of ppe and safety features
  23. the ppe or lack of in this vid also the safety features on the saw, i wouldnt work a saw without a chain brake n safety throttle. i like to have a rear chain brake on the handle also, makes it that lil bit safer
