  21. risk assessment is easy enough, things to look for are powerlines, evidence of underground services, general public in area, vehicles in area, other staff, signage, weather conditions. they are all site specific but then you go into the tree and there is, dead wood, hangers, fungi, is the tree rotting, is the tree hollow, evidence of stress conditions, birds nests, bird poop, weather conditions again. also you will need emergency contact numbers, the nearest hospital address if you are out in the wilderness you need to find out where the nearest area is for a helicopter to get to if need be and submit a grid refrence and also a grid refrence for the site. its good to know exactly how to get to and the street names of where your working to make it easier for emergency services. hope this helps
