what is the difference with the spider jack 1 and the spider jack 2, I have climbed on one for about 3 years now, the SJ2 is certainly a lot cheeper than what i paid for the SJ1.

The company has two one 09 one 07, mine 09 gets about 24mpg the other gets about the same, he has had his chipped to try and improve the mpg sort of works, I just thinks he has a heavy foot! Due to the emissions regs they are not as good as they use to be I am sure my D40 was better. We are running over sized tyers tho 60/40s. I believe the emission regs are another government scam, I seem to have to burn more fuel to get the same mileage as I would from the older truck.

Evening all, does anybody know any suppliers or web sits for utility equipment, at present I am after insulated rods. Can,t find any UK sites that just specifically deal with utility gear.

I have my oil turned up full, and fill up the saw with oil then tip the saw so the air escapes, I have never had the oil run out before the fuel it also makes getting the cap on easier and cleaner. Groundie one day got a shock, fueled up the saw and sent it up, 5 minutes later groundie covered in bar oil. Makes a change from me getting covered, Maybe that will teach him to put the caps on and check that they are on!

If only those people in the first photo had smiled! I actually found the day very enjoyable covered old ground as well as new.

The Fommes is also known as tinder fungus, as you can scrape the fungus to create a tinder for fire lighting. I live in East Anglia and have never found one, may be one day.

The NPTC ticket will not be recognised on a lot of sites however the IPAF will, you also need a CSCS card to enter many sites. This is a multiple choise question test (its hard to fail)! My understanding is that if you have 40/41 then you are competent and there is no need to do the NPTC chainsaw from MEWP

I use a spider jack on tachyon (11.5mm) great set up in the dry, however when the rope gets covered in tree slime and when raining I find it does'nt cam as well as in the dry and it can creep a little. Never played with a lock jack thought I might get one and give it a go.

I would have stretch air but they don't make my size. Hi flex is what I use, I get through on average a pair a year. How long does other peoples PPE last?
