  1. Well we would n't want you all to clash, or even worse turn up in the same gear, Is dave going to have his mog back together to get you all back to your digs, has he had auto pilot fitted whilst its been in for repair just for this outing?
  2. I,m just waiting for the first post to ask "what are you wearing" lol
  3. The tilt bed system was originally fitted on the standard varitrac machines to help with their stability, and it was the opinion of some companies that this could encourage the Operator to take the chipper beyond it's capabilities. The tilt bed system on the Bankmaster is fitted for Operator comfort and to allow the chipper to track across very steep bankings keeping the engine nearer level for the oil pickup etc. the width of the trackbase when fully extended is such that the tilting of the chipper body is not required for stability.
  4. AT LAST:thumbup1:PDF- Arbtalk entry.pdf
  5. I'll try that, cheers:001_smile:
  6. I thought the same but he has been on the forum a couple of times since the auction ended, he's maybe changed his mind!
  7. I auctioned a Stihl hedge cutter in the classifieds which came to an end on Monday, I have tried contacting the winning bidder a couple of times via PM and email with no response, I only set it up on a short auction with a reasonable starting price to try and move it quickly. What is an acceptable length of time I should wait for a response from the bidder before I re advertise it.
  8. This is the bundle of trouble that we will collect on Friday to fill the gap left by our Black Lab who died in October. I feel a frought Christmas coming up!
  9. I have used Todds in Burnley for sharpening every other type of saw blade and knife inc band saws circular saws, chipper blades etc so they must be worth a try for your machine, H Todd & Son Ltd. angry kid

I think you could have read every entry on this thread and you will have missed more than if you had n't bothered. lol:hmmmm2:
  11. Wow!!!! would you laugh or cry, maybe both, but in what order??????
  12. Just a quick note, when I spoke with my Accountant earlier this year he said that if you are looking to replace capital plant or vehicles, this financial year is the time to buy as there are additional tax benefits in place at present that will give you higher tax relief. I am not an accountatnt and am not questioning your accountant's advise but it may be worth a look before you make a decision on how you replace eqpt.
  13. I had the same issue with the delay but the quote saved me over £300 / year by combining all the cover into 1 trade policy, I would still shop around next time though, this years savings could be next years increase!
  14. Unlike you, eh LOL:goodnight:
  15. Dave You know where to go and who to speak to next time you have a problem, don't go to the experts, post the symptoms on this forum and follow the condescending advice you are given. Don't expect to save any money or get your machine sorted though. The main of us know what you were doing and why you were doing it and we would have done the same. Good luck with the repairs.
  16. Having worked with turntable dumpers with chippers fitted IMO the chipper is mounted too high from the ground for safe and easy operation, couple that with the extra 9" when you are on track and it can make them more of a hinderence than a help. I conform to the access issue as getting in and out of site with a tracked chipper takes excessive time but put this against the cost and limitations of arranging T3s and blockades the track chipper option working green zone is the way to go where the ground conditions and access allows.
  17. Bad news Dave at this time of year especially, looks like the kids are going to have to go short this Christmas, Monkeyd may have a few stocking fillers to ease the dissapointment for them. You will be hoping Alex does n't shut down early for his annual 10 day recharge of batteries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I would n't be able to walk if I did that, it takes me a couple of hours to get over a go on the waltzer.
  19. If you could have any small chipper on the "Safetrac" system or equivalent would you stick with the Greenmech????
  20. Don't you think he will be a little biased!!!
  21. [i am now running for cover!!! So is Dave the:sad: Dog
