  1. Thanks, John, Mick amazes me' here is a Dragon Fly he carved at the Wales Woodfest last year, 3 1/2 days work, all out of one log Amazing!
  2. Thanks, The Bugseyes are mint' the vision is just like your mesh visor on the hats, **** still gets through but a lot less' and I even wear them when I'm sanding with the grinder!

  4. Yes the bench pixie and root head are all together in whats called the stumpery garden, the dragonfly is also very close,

  8. thanks, It took 9 days, spent a day and a half trying to get the wings out of an ash but full of holes, another day drilling holes and attaching the wings, It will not be very high to use guy's but I was pleased to get on the ground I tell ya! lol

  11. Thanks, Robbie, just looked up where your at, Plymouth is a long way from Durham mate or I would of offered to carve for you, don't know any carvers that far south! Sorry.

  14. more Have a really difficult carving this weekend, Owl with Squirrels! Only carved one Squirrel and it was not very good!

Thanks, I was like Edward Scissor Hands when I first started, now with bloody tennis elbows I'm limiting my carving to orders only' Olive Ash, Tommer what outdoor finnish would you suggest? all I apply now is a Decking Oil on Carvings. Thanks for the comments, should be finnished this week sometime.

  20. Thanks a lot, This is staying exactly where it is, Barnes Park, Sunderland. Spent 4 1/2 days so far, been stopped a lot by loads of work man coming over watching me and saying thats canny good that like' and kicking it with tha muddy boots! lol

    Those chains have been sitting in my tool box two years now I'm pleased there going to help you, I see Simon has some left, his prices are pretty good.

    Now at least you know where to get it Roger, still can't believe you actually made one!
