  1. Two constitutions a Vast Majority now.
  2. Respect for using Hard Mode. Is it noticable more tricky?
  3. Fair point, well made. Delivered in an eloquent if somewhat lengthy manner! So what we are saying then is to approach your compost like your vegetable bed: employ a no dig method. I've not dug either for years, so thankful that I was on the right side all along!
  4. Agree, the flap is crap. I can't lift the whole structure off because I tied 12mm netting over the open base years ago to stop rats burrowing under. It works.
  5. What's the problem with turning? I thought it was good to aerate the mix.
  6. There's a joke in there about PPE as well, but it probably belongs in that other thread.
  7. In Putin's Russia it's prison and then the army, followed swiftly by death.
8. There's a copy to clipboard type icon on the rhs of a ribbon above the sharing options, (email, Whatsapp, messages etc). If you click that it can be pasted directly into here as a picture. Sorry, can't get a screenshot of that bit for some reason.
  9. Yeah, I think that's a bit positive for the plastic bins - they heat up nicely. Getting towards Hot Composting maybe. Obviously not that hot though as there's always masses of writhing Tiger Worms whenever we open the lid on the WIP one.
  10. Go to the stats bit and then Share.
  11. I take the lazy approach at the moment. Three of those plastic Dalek type bins, filled and emptied in rotation. Probably a two year cycle. I don't bother to turn it, as I can't due to the size, but it turns out as nice, well rotted compost at the end. Everything goes in there: some garden waste and all kitchen veggie waste, (including orange peel - I've seen advice that you shouldn't include it but never understood why). No grass cuttings though. I cut the lawn as rately as possible so it tends to be seeding when I do. Ideally I'd have have concrete bays as well.

    Jokes???

  14. I wouldn't say it's rubbish, but it's certainly not his best work. Maybe he doesn't under arboriculture practices.

    Dodgy or what?

Pussy! Real men just chuck it on and let the BBQ do the de-furring.

  19. Yes, I felt sorry for the farmers trying to grow crops when I looked around at the drowned fields yesterday. Crazy amounts of water everywhere.

  21. Another Sunday walk, another continuous mud wallow. It's not even funny anymore. The land just can't take it now.
  22. Wheelie strange: Man speeds down road on a mobility scooter | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Bizarre footage has emerged of a man speeding down a busy road on a red mobility scooter, the rider can be seen...

  24. Not such a good idea actually when you think about it. They'd not get many obese Brits on a jet. Not compared to the number of emaciated migrants that they're cramming on to the weekly planes to Rwanda. Closing all the fast food outlets and making people get out into fresh air to physically work seems like the more viable option.
  25. Oh yeah, that old "easy" fix. It's working wonders for the migrant crisis isn't it?
