  1. That Yam's beautifull! As for the CCM, a bike made of lead would be lighter
  2. ive pulled everything off, except the crank case, the 46 is a great saw, the 44 series is good, but soon wears out ime
  3. i got it as a non runner, the mesh basket in the carb was full of crud, cleaned out, ran perfect, done near 100 hours, then packed up again-wouldnt idle without reving, then wouldnt start without chokem then died. stripped it today, exhaust port side of cylinder and chamber badly scored. spud, only slight side to side movement
  4. Impressive! what will something like that pull? flying back for sure on the 15th, but getting restless!
  5. Hi Rob!, Theres a tiny bit of play in the crank, so that'd be a full gasket set needed too, anything else to look for?
  6. Nice one thats what i thought. Anyone got views on non genuine parts? or as im assuming, not worth the bother?
  7. I agree, it did handle well, but was just too "nice" where as the triple, made me grin just starting her, and despite being a big bike, you could really throw it around, under 100mph it would easily out perform my mates much newer gsx600r, standing starts, rolling starts, and cornering. Round the alps i would have to stop and wait for him to catch up
  8. What else is advisable to replace when replacing the piston and pot? thanks
  9. Lovely 1098 Ady! Heres some of my past bikes Triumph speed four, alright but a bit girly Triumph speed triple, Fantastic bike, the carbon race can with baffles removed made the 3cyl sound like an animal Speed triple in the french alps Husky smr510, seriously fun bike
  10. search for scott wojo rob Chainsaw Muffler Modifications - Internet Sales World Wide - Tree World
  11. That sounds great:thumbup1: i rode to monaco in 2009 via the alps and back with no iteniary or route, just me and a mate on motorbikes. Good Luck!
  12. Cool, Cheers Martin Thanks for the comments too, Martin and his dad are a great team to work with
  13. Settle down, start a family, get married This year i've enjoyed myself too much, drinking, partying and women So this year im going to work harder, and play even harder Nah, less partying, instead an 8+ day holiday each season
  14. Pleasure to work with you and you're dad mate How did the videos turn out? Just off to get a glass, Cheers!
  15. alloy buckinghams, velcro pads, very pleased with them
  16. Dont like the look of them! they look too rigid to me
  17. What are you climbing on now? Earlier this year i tried the 11.5mm taychon, really liked the thinner rope for speed and just how it ran in the vt, but was too hard on my hands clasping the thinner rope, when i was used to 13mm, so decided to go from the 13mm yale fire(?) to the slightly smaller diameter Imori (which is a great rope, nice feel, works well with the vt) and have now brought a 50m Tachyon I think you need to say what diameter rope you're looking for . . .
  18. Do you stretch for work Rich? Whats you're height? or BMI? 13stone here:001_smile: and at 5'11" gives me a BMI of 25.6, technically overweight:sneaky2: After doing some dynamic stretching this morning, it feels great:thumbup1:
  19. Thanks Martyn, i'll give them a go tommorrow How long will dynamic stretching last? Will i still get the benefits if i stretch before leaving home, then maybe an hour later start work?
