  1. So I thought I must go and see what has happpened and as I also had my work truck at home I jumped in that, with my camera, and went off to the lane where my car was seen. It was quite along walk down the lane which got bumpier and bumpier with deep ruts etc. As we all know subarus big doen fall is ground clearance. There was no way I would have driven down this lane. Anyway off in the distance I could see this...........
  2. Nice. Import model?
  3. So, what happened was....... I parked it in public car park near my house one night which I would never normally do, but there was something blocking my usual space. So I emptied everything out and put it in the car park. Next day it was gone! Went home to call Police and get a phone call from some bloke. (my mumber is of course on the side of the vehicle) Blokes says "have you lost a car?" Yes, why where is it? Its down such and such foot path. Is it damaged? Oh yes! And they have been through your stuff in the back! Strange I thought, as there was no "stuff" in the back. Anyway I thanked him and called the Police and told them not just that it was stolen but where it now was "Oh yes" said the Police. "We know about that one, its been involved in a crime, please do not touch anything. Officers are on there way to it now"
  4. At least I'm not premature, and thanks to Pete for holding his beans in a little longer!!!
  5. Its gonna be such an anti climax now
  6. Yes, I'm guessign they are just vermeers equivelant to green teeth. Heard good things about GT so these yellow fellows might be the way forward. Not happy with my proteeth as sharpenign them is very slow/boring/dirty and results are never that good.
  7. Heres a link, this is the only photo I could find http://www.vermeermidsouth.com/pdf/HotDealsFeb09YellowJacketFlyerCorp.pdf
  8. Yes. So some expense to start with, I think he said £225 + vat for everything, then the teeth are the same price as the pro teeth but you can use each one twice.
  9. Will try and find the FINAL photos tomorrow!
  10. Forgot the pic! Happy days!!
  11. Damn right!! Stick with a 2L or 2.2L and alls good, mess with 2.5L or turbos and its a world or repairs!
  12. Not my dog in that pic but yes, most dogs refused to pee on it! My dogs happier here with just the subaru!
  13. You know teasing is part of the pleasure!!
  14. I'm coming I'm coming!!!
  15. In the big scrap yard in the sky!
  16. Can I derail my own thread and discuss this bute of a cherry picker! It cost under 500 quid but was worth about a pound!
  17. Yes, I spoke to vermeer today about getting some teeth for my 252 and surprisingly they wanted to sell me some yellow jackets instead. Seems they are like rayco green teeth. Look good but would like a second opinion!
  18. Not that I like dragging things out or anything but heres a few pics of my old beloved and most reliable subaru ever.
  19. Anyone used these stump grinder teeth? Are they any good?
  20. The blower attachment is great, nearly as good as backpack one.
  21. I cut into four foot lengths and role them onto a trailer. Th equad bike can ge the trialer in and out of some odd places but it gets full too quickly!!
  22. The velcro works fine, very comfy and not comign loose in my experience. The alu spikes are well made, the carbon fibre ones are good but have some build quality issues.
  23. My spare six bedroom hous eis a mile away but the hawaiin tropic tour girls are stayign there that weekend so sorry guys! You best bet is the daneway pub for camping. Here, the triangular shape to the right is the showground, I've outlined the estate, its huge plenty of camping! All the land outside the estate is still owned by the estate but is mostly farmland. Within the pink line is just Lord A's back garden. NOtice the ten mile gallop from left to right! The cross to the left is the daneway and to the right is the Ag college.
