  1. Or just be a bit more specific with the questions. We've had some fun but we would all answer direct questions if asked.
  2. Ah, that works without using the web link (globe) button! Ok, nick is right, just past it directly in the reply box.
  3. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/7928-url-posting-advice-2.html
  4. something like thishttp://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/7928-url-posting-advice.html#post142733
  5. yeah that won't work!! Attachemnts is for pics etc so its expectign a jpeg file or word document etc. When watching the utube video, copy the url from the browser window at top of page and then go to arbtalk and when posting click the insert link button (globe) and past it in the box when prompted.
  6. Or if its someone else link that your tryign to open then clicking on it should do, or paste it into your browser.
  7. Use the insert link button on the reply box header. Its a picture of a globe
  8. Aplogies to anyone 45 ish! I'm not far behind though!
  9. Can you do that with sweded and turnips or are you actually answering the original question in a serious manner? If so then I'll be helpful... I use money!
  10. Gettign someones tickets and themn running off is a problem but that is where beign a good employee would help. Why did she feel the need to run off and work elsewhere? Probably because he's a crap boss! Well I think we've confimed that much already. The advice above regarding 28 days holiday etc is all good but I seriously doubt you'll get anywhere. Good luck.
  11. Ah, proper old then!! Are there any other "employees"? Doesn't sound like a tree surgery company to me!
  12. No the swedes crashed recently, two turnips to the swede but I bet you can fit less swede in you than turnips.
  13. Now your 23 right? So what are you calling old? If he really is old then maybe he's too set in his ways to understant employement law. But I'm 39 so careful with the term old unless he's like over 45 or something. Old %$&*.
  14. however many he can fit in him!
  15. Yeah, charge them for the tuition recieved!!
  16. A fight first would be good, character building and all that!
  17. Thats it, you've summed up the problem. Your not free to do other things. Thats what is unfair about your situation. You need to know that you have x amount of days free so you can get other work or make plans etc. He is not going to be happy when he realises you've seen the light. Did you answer my question about if he is bigger than you or not? BTW if your tree surgery boss calls to ask you to help with decking at his house, tell him to go %&*$ himself, are you a tree surgeon or a slave?
  18. not a frayed knot. Also shout umpa lumpa when the so big log is um bigger, then the groundie will let it run morish than before but less than when he didn't.
  19. I woudl say only cut off peices about so big and let it run a bit and use a so so size of rope and a nice pulley should be ok.
  20. And how lucky they are to be learning from me etc....
  21. Yes it does seem as though this is "casual labour" Like bar work etc. Yet I bet he's expected 5 days a week when the work is there. You have next to no chance of gettign any holidya pay for the last 12 months, anything before that has gone now anyway. I suggest getting things sorted for the future and if that means leaving then do so. Don't get too tied up fighting over what has already been and gone.
  22. I've got nothing this week. Good thing I've got employees that I can totally take for granted and call up whenever i feel like it and not pay them holidays etc!!
  23. Is he bigger than you? I have some advice! So did your earnings for the year fall below the tax threshold? Waht is it now anyway 5K? Something like that. You need to get another job mate!
  24. No work today then?? That was in 1993 or 4 ish, not much of a loss to him at the time but an inconvenince as he had work booked in. But hey, he was trying to play me for his own benefit and I wanted full time work.
