  1. A few have come forward but unfortunately as I said I can't take a fully green appreciate as because of home reasons I feel it's not fair as I can't spend the time that they deserve.
  2. Bit more temptation for the right person hopefully To recap Full time, on the books, must be able to drive and it's working on the tool's so please no more students who are starting collage in September and mum can drop them in on a Tuesday or Saturday.
  3. Almost done This was a little closer than I'd intended but a miss is a miss
  4. Sides in, before anyone says anything about dints this is a chip only box not for carrying big lumps of timber as we have trailers for this and nearly always run two vehicles to Jobs 4mm folded sheet in the channel and pulled tight can't flex it by pushing on it. Top to fit tomorrow if I'm allowed out to play
  5. Toolbox on and new uprights welded in for headboard and side's
  6. Can do Bob, when I eventually get 10min... If your on Instagram have a look at our page as got plenty of picture on that http://www.instagram.com/dryadarb
  7. Nothing apart from nudging a few bigger bits of elder back into the wood with the blade and running over the ground a few times to smash it up well with the flail. It actually leaves a far better finish on brambles and crap like this than it will on long grass.
  8. Eventually decided to revamp the old grafter as she's a good truck that was never intended to stay long so had a bodged on body but two years later is still doing us good service so time to treat her. Joy of owning a crane and plasma cutter made shortening the tipper easier today Got the toolbox fitted thisafternoon and a few bits welded up but forgot to take pictures so more to follow
  9. 1hrs work and I didn't get out the cab between unloading and reloading
  10. I should point out that the positions are full time PAYE with all the normal benefits this brings.
  11. Depending on if it's the slide together or the fold clip sort of plank's, I had the ones that folded together like laminate flooring and damaged a middle plank so fairly easily took it apart and replace it and apart from the new one being so shiny in comparison you'd never tell.
  12. All good on my phone, amazing where you can get a zt to go with a bit of perseverance.
  13. My background is forestry, then line clearance then working for a very astablished company with some decent big kit so I'd had plenty of machine experience before going on my own, I never set out with a great plan but always had the believe that going home knackered and hurting didn't mean you'd had a productive day when clever use of machinery could help avoid this. Trick is working out what can save you labor but fits within the work your getting or aiming for, just got to remember the whole process as there's no point having a massive merlo like ours that can put tons of tree on the ground very quickly and 2 lads trying to keep up with a 750kg chipper into a transit as they will quickly become swamped and efficiency is lost but then there's no point running a massive truck and 14" 3.5ton chipper if your mostly doing back garden crown reductions. What I'm trying to say is well resurched investment in equipment that makes yours and your staffs day easier is the key.
  14. A 6000 series valtra would be perfect for you but at that budget you'd better keep some back for a decent set of spanner's especially if your hoping to get a trailer in with that budget, odd one's do come up in decent condition but hold good money for a reason.
  15. Thanks bud, what you see is what you get with me, can't fake it for this long [emoji6]
  16. Mostly full of ibuprofen from the last 20years tree work not having gear to do the heavy lifting [emoji848][emoji6]
  17. Just take the lot in one go of course [emoji6] To be fair I don't do fruit trees as admit I don't have a clue how to do them properly so pass most onto a friend who really knows what she's doing and can afford to take her time on a propper job
  18. Go on then, one more. Just got things ready to role out in the morning.
  19. Yeah And when even these are not up to the job we get 'busy daddy' in to really eat some material
  20. Dryad Arbor Artists are looking for a enthusiastic arborist to join our team in Richmond North Yorkshire. We carry out a variety of tree work ranging from domestic pruning to commercial clearance works with some of the most unique equipment in the area. Candidate's must have experience working within the industry and hold a full clean driving license preferably with +E as we don't run small chipper's, the more qualifications the better but as a minimum cs30-31, 38 and chipper is required. Experience working with or around machinery is preferable but the right candidate can be corrupted in our own ways if required. A team player with the ability to think and work independently when required while taking pride in their own standard of work is essential as even we can't teach that. If you wish to discuss the role further please contact me on 0780194833 or send cv's to [email protected] To gawk at some of the toys you could be working with or around and see some of the kind of work you could be enjoying check out our instergram page at http://www.instagram.com/dryadarb John Lawrence Dryad Arbor-Artists
  21. Yesterday we needed the tractor and winch, digger and cherry picker on site but only had two drivers so this worked, Monday I need a tractor, chipper and winch and big digger on site so today discovered the E80 can comfortably lift the chipper into the bucket well at the back of the trailer. Little bit of before and after cutting back with the flail today
  22. When it starts playing up try disconnecting the heat sensor on the top of the engine near the radiator, if it runs fine try cleaning and nipping up the connection or getting a replacement sensor as it's quite a common problem.
  23. I get that as well, when I say I run bandit and Schliesing you can hear a deflated sound in his voice as he suggests the sub 750 as a possibility, strange how it seems to be a new area sales guy quite regularly.
  24. Yes I do, I think Bob at Aspen ARB has one, used one around 2001 that was fitted with a big petrol V6, awesome power and incredible ability to make fuel disappear!
