    Echo cs620

felling pops all day with mine alongside my 372,both 18" bars,if you blindfolded me it would be hard to tell the difference in torque, the 620 is that good believe me

    Echo cs620

    marvellous piece of equipment,end of
  4. I'm a non millionaire enjoying mine.hse lux 6 months and faultless, long warranty so little worry, worked hard all my life,no help from my friends,so lord won't you buy me a................land rover
  5. You can achieve this manoeuvre with a cabstar and 150,and the payloads higher
  6. I have the 620,never crossed my mind on the topper,i'm off down the garage!
  7. Is a main dealer authorised to do this warranty work by husky without this equipment??!!
  8. Had both a month now,620sx and 360 topper, lose the stigma guys and get these saws! 620 is no 560xp but has the grunt of a 372,sugi bar, excellent build quality and a pleasure to use.As for the topper nobody rates the 201t and all the 540's seem to fall apart, this alternative is a stop moaning option! solid, responsive, torquey,a breath of fresh air (a tad heavy if I could pick fault). With the APF coming up I feel sure their market share will increase, well done echo from my corner
  9. I care not if it takes them 2 hours or 22,got my 550 and 560 back,550 snapped the crank in 3 minutes,560 rattled like nails in a washing machine.I've had a 'sincere' apology and expect replacement saws very soon, how can you be a husky dealer and not even have the autotune plug in box? no vac test/pressure test etc etc I'm guessing.i'm a complete dinosaur but even I move with the times
  10. jon I've just had a similar experience myself, had a 550 and a 560 both less than a year old, both split oil tank gasket,8 weeks later I have them back, used 254 and 242 in the woods for last 3 weeks as stop gap.dealer says husky pay them for 2hrs labour and its an 8hr job so lost money, they also said if it goes again they'll give me new saw(s) so why not do that in the first place??
  11. Give us strength.someone asked me yesterday to chop up a silver birch in their garden (someone else took it down),I explained it would be 50 quid (about half a cube of green wood) but they could purchase a cube of fantastic seasoned ash from me for 80 quid, they went for the former option but kept my number for logs in the future
  12. I have a new disco 4,done 1500 miles ok so far,it has a 3 year warranty and service package,i can even watch telly while the missus is in Tesco, its great! My mates had 3's and 4's and had little trouble, pot luck maybe like most things
  13. I "prefer" my husky 550 and 560 but as they've been in for warranty work for 6 weeks currently using 242xp and 254xp,still good saws and ideal in coppice
  14. I have a husky 550 and 560 both 6 months old, both in for split oil tank gasket, been in 6 weeks, been onto husky tech dept and they say should be fixed within 7 days of diagnosis.i reckon I've spent 150k in there over 25 years, they will get not one penny more from me,customer service is lacking a lot these days
  15. Not taking delivery until September but I will update, its 5 years old and not that much cheaper than a new one so they hold well!
  16. sorted now,thanks
  17. Oh no,just me then, they must be rubbish
  18. As above, one day, pollarding 3 willows, good drop zone,a few limbs over building, any day that week to suit, crash it down and drive off, cash on the day + diesel (as long as you aint from Aberdeen ) Pm if you prefer, thanks
  19. Just done a deal on one.Anyone own/used one? pro's/con's? thanks guys
  20. looks like you nearly buried an estwing there too!!
  21. Interesting thread, spent this week felling very large poplar,my 66 is performing admirably backed up with a 460 and 372.In 1992 we felled 1700 large pops with a jonsered 910 and a couple of dolmars, nothing with a chain brake.I still have them all in my saw graveyard
  22. Good advice,thanks
  23. Are these obvious to locate or shall I traipse off to a dealer?
  24. An electrical short? I did leave the button out in a shower,i'll try my friends
  25. Had this trailer a month or two and suddenly developed a problem. When tipped (electrically) any less than full height,as soon as I let go of up button it drops straight away.It has a nearly new ifor pump and electrics, the manual lowering valve is closed tight,no oil leaks, ram is in good nick, stumped! Help before it squashes someone thanks guys
