  2. Hi guys bought a old kwickchip 6inch chipper from arbtalk guy (hi si) chippert has siezed engine any ideas on replacement and from where? current engine is a ruggerini rd270 have been told that i need a lombardini 625 any help with fing#ding a suitable replacement would be great. cheers Gav
  3. hi guys im also after a engine a 2 cyl lombardini 26hp i bought a dead chipper of a fellow arbtalk guy now looking for a replacement engine machine is a 6inch kwickchip. any help would be good.
  4. might do depends whos asking and where tey are from haha the sides are bade with a material called dibond (ally plastic ally) and then printed on. stronger than anything and light

  6. i visited this bad boy late in the afternoon and taped area off with a view to do following day. the next day she had come down taking its neighbour down with it. a bloody mess all hooked up on fence etc crappy poplar would of been nice if ash or oak ££

  13. this is true i have a day release boy for 1 day a week his college superiors told me that i didnt have to pay him. but i bung him £40 cash i think this is fair , sometimes we dont even need him but hay he has got to get exsperience from someone
  14. have all my tickets and years of exsp but every day is different call myself a tree surgeon but you could call us areial labourers but it dont sound as good. will call myself a arborist when i am getting paid for advice and a tree surgeon when doing the practical side
  15. get yourself one of those little throw line bags and clip it to your harness good for stashing things. in mine i keep safety specs first aid kit etc even my fags . well some times you just dont want to come down for one. also kit yourself out with some good quality long sleve base layer shirts
  16. keep the main anchor look for a good re direct keep linr tight and if in dout use a 3-5 meter strop that will stop you going anywhere but let you go anywhere
  17. i bought a Movano crew cab tipper absolute crap compared to transits for starters front wheel drive, on anything wet its crap and the tipper ram dosent go as high as a late transit. had a iveco that was good but slow
  18. dont bother with anything other than a tipper nonono effiency is the name of the game. like the old advert "i like to wash and go" tell you this for nout at the end of a hard days work youve pulled into your dump ground if you didnt have a tipper you would find this the worst part of the day. instead of working out your profit with a smile on your face haha. you can pick up an old crewcab transit for 1500+ that will do what you want

  20. had a emergency tpo slapped on a beech as we were 1/4 of the way through its take down due to a hitler of a neighbour
  21. did my contract mowing today no real need but still looked good with a nice stripe though. i used to be a greenkeeper 6 years service used to cut all through winter unless frosts stop you
