    promotion ?

Hi guys it all went well. i thought abot this long and hard beforehand we were there at 8.30 talking and handing out leaflets to what i deemed to be our target customer the middle aged profe3sional . we had leaflets at cigarete counter , customer serv dept , and the petrol station. also zipp tied site boards around carpark exit and all over the place. my research had done well ,as the morning started to fade you could see the change in social level eg morning was our target audience midday was familys and then it just drops all the way down to teenagers bying there beer for saturday night. the weather worked in our favour bloody windy , just hope those customers go home watch there trees get battered and blown to bits and then give me a call. imo you have to push and sell yourself it never just falls in your lap. ps cheers Mike

    promotion ?

Hi guys whats your thoughts on this ? will be doing a load of promo work at local supermarkets etc over next few weeks. have some good mates / managers at places like sainsburys B&Q etc have taped them up for a few Hours outside doing leaflets , standing aroun truck chipper saws . if it gets your name out there its got to be worth it . so the vans clean and chippers gleaming the saws are shiny and the work gear is washed , leaflets at the ready and note pad in hand for contacts. we are 1month booked up but you all know what its like , we all want to be booked up for the next 6 months ...

  16. costs a lot of dosh. 3 months no pay = £4500 all your ppe = £500 course fees = £2000 ass fees = £400 -£500 and your travel ? and a bloody good level of consentration i done it 4-5 years ago and never looked back . you will find that virtualy everyone on the course will be a teenager and you the old git. had to do a part time job in the evening when i should have been studying, just to pay the bills (married with kids) so think about it it isnt cheap and it isnt easy. but as i say once its done your on your way...out the door of the office enviroment oh yeah. good luck:thumbup:
