  3. cheers this beast is on the corner of a land mark roundabout in the public eye etc just want to tick all the boxes dont want to go all gunho and then get done over by local LA but you all know what these trees are like was thinking of removing this big upright limb and then reducing weight on opposite side ? but still theres going to be problems in future with major heart rot etc the trees got to be 100 -150 years old maybe we should call time
  4. wanted to try and save this 70ft beast though. although i do know deep down it dont look good.
  5. Guys a little help please emergency call out blue cedar splitting arrived on site to find a mature blue cedar multi stem 3 main ledars, ledar near road and flats showing signs of splitting all the way down main stem. wind rocking this beast around opening up about 2-3 inches iminante failure coming ohhhh. my questionis ihave taken a lot of weight from the crown of this stem and temporarily braced it although i feel this whole stem needs to come down. now my problem is if i do this the whole tree is going to be completely unbalanced therefore condeming it to complete removal tree does have TPO but have been told to do whats needed for H&S reasons bank holiday weekend doesent help with Arb officors approval. sorry no pics at mo

  8. thats what im talking about, people will go to them regardless of anything. the day someone says i dont need to see your insurance or qualification and then tells me that its ok to dump the crap over the fence or in those woods. this will be the day i kick myself for spending £££ on being legit theres a local prop maintenance firm near me who claim they do carpet cleaning , roofing , extentions , tree surgery etc what realy pisses me off is they are check a trade ,fsb, trading standards etc. now i know the guy who runs this small outfit and we started business at the same time now prior to this he spent hes whole life as a manager at B&Q ?????? what the fu*k does he know about any of these trades and how did he get approval from these trade monitors??? i just dont get it is it simply down to £

  13. would go with a crew cut anyday more than enough room for all your gear and a extra body if needed. and if you take a look at some crewys some still have the 10ft back on them myne has shes a biggggg girl when i run the trailor around on the back with the stump grinder , im as long as a bus.

HI Dave i do what your talking about i have x4 nursing homes i look after under annual contract , well i dont look after them my guys do. it works out good i get a good income from these 4 jobs but most importantly it allows me to concentrate on the trees which is what i like best and if things do ever go quiet then i focus on these nursing homes.
