  1. I think that was the opposite on here, trolling is one thing i wouldnt bother with esp as others have already pointed out such members who far exceed any posting count i could ever manage. Who would have thought mentioning Bats would get that volume of bile ? K
  2. Feel free to point such out then, you clearly have nothing better to do. K
  3. Sorry John 🙄 obvs there is a vein of animosity here, idle hands and all that. K
  4. No, yr right, it looks bad and juvenile. Professional opinions will vary to a degree, but you dont want ranting arses venting spleens cos they think they can. Certainly any input should be of value if it helps the OP. K
  5. I do like Bats Ian, but them am Bat certified, so i would. K
  6. You could be more correct than you know Kev, but am gonna hang on to my rigging kit in the loft just incase 😉 K
  7. Jesus 🙄 do you just sit there with this boiling in yr brain? And this aint the first time... K
  8. Hmmm, just watched the Matrix last night and just read this now, might stay in today 😳 K
  9. I have my fleet of heavy lifting drones at the ready, dont panic ( does need twinned drones fr family pack of andrex at the mo 😣) k
  10. Well, one other point is that split is a good Bat cavity, so would be looking at that first. I think pruning reduction would be better than whole branch removal, as the tensions built up in the wood around that split will be a problem! K
  11. Looks like its growth pattern has overloaded a mechanically poor bend in the branch. There is no evidence of previous pruning or deadwooding in that shot. Possibly relieving some loading or tip reduction could help. But Only if there is a target under that tree would i be worried. K
  12. Yes. Astounding country in many ways. But not enuff fr me. K ( that includes Berkshire 😉 )
  13. Quite likely too, lot of Larch got the chop of late 😕 K
  14. On the left could be Dunkeld, they look similar trees. Glad to see you found Larch in Wales! K
  15. Absolutely sure both chains same? Only thing i could think was a guage difference 050 in an 058 rail fr example. Not experienced this happening myself, good bar n chain n all sharp n tidy just should work! K
  16. No... But good effort though and sharpen the dogs before you put them on or you will scuff the cases 😳 K
  17. Looked up the next seriez and helo logging is on the cards 😳 obvs Netflix see this guy as a winner...... K
  18. .... Anyway.... Yes, might not be my first choice. Not a fan of shellfish tho the scuba diving is brilliant. K
  19. Indeed, quite absurd housing shortage there, stupid money. K
  20. The explosives guy they used on the road construction was entertaining 😁 K
  21. Shocked me on that, as most of the logs looked rotten shite- but remember Kevin runs a saw mill, he doesnt actually lumber jack, hence bringing in pro fallers at the end of the job. Possibly its in his head as sawn timber prices. I got the impression that ' claim' was picked up for the program, maybe one another contractor got kicked off from? K
  22. @Patrick goulding well, he is a 'kevin' k
  23. You missed a good bit on native mask carving then, old guy is a master. K
  24. Better than Axe men, enjoyed how kevin just made old, shit gear work ( but yea they do inject drama into the filming 🙄) k
  25. Dont tempt fate... 😉 k
