  1. Our town uses those Axiam trucks for their gardeners. They fill it in 20min then drive up to 3km to the tip at 20mph. Lucky lazy sods spend most of their days driving to and fro keeping warm. Funny to see 2 gurt gardeners squeezed in to the cabin. Also several locals who have either lost their right to a full licence or never gained one drive the diesel versions. I'm tempted by one of these to get to local quotes: Renault Twizy Electric Vehicle | Renault UK Renault in town have 2 for sale at 4500euros each, ex demos. Ty
  2. Better page from the site: Chargeur Frontal Plus I'll wait to see just how Mike's turns out first but it looks to be very good value indeed! Ty
  3. What ever Mother says to you, it was not made for pissing through... Ty
  4. Ici: Chargeur Frontal Plus This site which still is under construction is possibly one of the worst I have ever seen! Ty
  5. So then, Terry of Essex decent chap he is I do not doubt but just what has got up his nose? Was there a specific event or run in on here? As for questionable knowledge, this is an open forum for 10weekers to arb-experts and beyond. Each sharing, laughing, jibing, learning and ineracting with one another. I don't pretend to be an expert or a great climber. My knowledge is sufficient to earn an honest coin and I enjoy the banter on here very much just as I would do if it was down the pub. So, go on, what is it that set Terence off then? Ty
  6. I was going to originally write "Is that a 1200kg Caravan with a 600kg Wife on board?" But I felt I didn't really know John well enough to ask this on a public forum...hhhh! Ty
  7. I wonder what's got Mr Essex all heated...? Some-one had a laugh at his expense or maybe just feels left out of a joke? Ty:001_rolleyes:
  8. Is that a 1200kg Caravan with 600litres of 'Cizzer' on board...? Ty:001_tt2:
  9. Thought you where still on the M25...? Ty hhhh!
  10. But you could lob a armourpiercing shell right into the root plate... Would require a bit of raking and lawn seed after to put right though... Ty:lol:
  11. We own a Quadchip, don't even THINK about dropping a branch on it! Mostly made of eggshells and perishable goods with a Kubota inside. And YET...it can be moved with minimum of effort and over its life will chip as much of not more than other 'beefier' models but cost less in fuel whilst being towed. Ty:001_smile:
  12. NO! Your just a big wet girls blouse with no more right to breath God's clean air than a weasel... Go get a desk job or join the Catholic Church and leave this forum NOW! Actually, I get scared, seriously nervous going up the ladder until my Krab snaps firmly shut and I'm attached to the tree. If I can throw a line I'm fine but I HATE trying for 20min untangling the thing before I can throw. Ty
  13. Dean is going to 'get' you for that! I bet he's waiting for you outside of your yard with his mates to duff you up for telling FIBS! hhhh! Ty
  14. If you where less clumsy then you wouldn't need to weld it or belt it with a hammer... Ty
  15. 4pence h'penny an me wife will put up sandwiches and a flask at lunch. Once you've got 5 years behind you then a shilling is your reward. Ty:001_rolleyes: I once worked for the minimum wage for a fair but 'tight' man. I told my 'Gaffer' that if he could pay me £10 per day more then I would stay. (Could stay...) At the time it was the difference between making a mortgage payment or not, so a bit life or death. Gaffer declined, I put the house on the market, sold in weeks and walked away with a pocket of cash and NEVER looked back. If you don't like your wage then be your own boss. Find your own work, its out there... Ty
  16. I don't get many calls from dole scroungers but I do from bankers. 4 on my list currently. It's the rich(better off) that pay our wages so as long as people are earning the money is going round. After all, who makes the nuts and bolts that go into a Jag? Ordinary working people of course!
  17. Tell some-one you work for Citroen-Peugot...Hundreds of millions in turnover and millions in losses. Money is in theft, so I'd say the best paid are our travelling cousins and their kin. Some thing for nothing is always the best eh...? Ty
  18. Here in France, if a client buys materials then they pay 19.6% vat If the client merely chooses and leave the artisan to supply and install then the client pays 7% vat Brits can't get their heads around this and so normally search the internet for sleepers and sheds etc but after paying transport and 20% vat they often and up paying the same to more. Plus artisans here normally get a trade price which can be 25% lower than the list but more often hovers around 10-15% The system is geared towards encouraging people to use tradesmen in all things. I will some-times just collect materials for free as a gesture of goodwill...I'm full of that see:001_rolleyes: Ty
  19. HAH! In 2010 we had an Irish chap in silver Range Rover sport stop at our old yard in central Brittany and offer generators for sale. I was in the house at the time but my groundies wife chased him off with a flea in his ear. Just to add, I watched some horrible programme recently called My Big Gypsy Valentine where a local priest called a convicted traveller thief a "lovable rogue" This "Lovable Rogue" laughed off his thieving on camera! All that chintzy tat they surround themselves with, paid for with what...? Unofficial used chipper dealers...? Grrrr! Ty
  20. She is a girl many on here have slept with at some time I am sure... Ty
  21. Also, Bute is used on domestic horses 'pets' showjumping, gymkanas and elderly pets. Like Clamidia Forsyth-Brown's fat pony when it has outgrown her childish interest and the family sell the paddock for a housing estates. Having travelled around the world, I am quite sure that outside of the home counties few rural people who still rely on equines for a coin cannot afford to pump them full of drugs to keep them going. Romania has revently introduced legistlation restricting the use of horses as transport (not allowed on autoroutes...) This is a major reason for the glut of horse meat as Roma trade up to Dacia Sanderos. I must say, horse really is jolly good. I prefer 'Poulin' which is foal, cheap, under 7euros kg and very tender. Ty
  22. Quote Dean Lofthouse "Wonder what human tastes like ? Seems a waste to just throw 50 kilos of decent meat in an incinerator" Already been explored in this 1970's movie... Soylent Green - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia BLERK! Ty
  23. Then my advice is to spend less time on the computer and take some of those mushrooms you come across...hhhh! Ty
  24. 2 dirty landies full of dog hair...? Ty:laugh1:
  25. Given the price of the stuff at Xmas, can you not persuade the client to delay the work until then and find a buyer like a local florist or market trader? Here in France its is EVERYWHERE! It brings down branches from poplars and drains whole trees. Ty
