  8. dont forget some bluetooth ear defenders if your planning full days strimming. also big strimmers go through a fair bit of fuel a day so factor that in.

  15. well i got a dewalt one today, not top of the range but seems ok, they did have the einhal one on offer with an impact driver too,was kinda tempted but find the noise of the impacts a bit annoying. the milwaukee one was there too looked great but bit steep for my needs ( not trade, just heavy diy.) still not sure whether i should have got another makita but il see how this one goes. thanks for the replies. carl
  16. looking to replace an old makita cordless drill, i was thinking to get a new makita bare unit and another fresh battery but for similar money i could get a dewalt drill and two batteries and the dewalt seems to have higher torque spec. had a look at millwaukee mega spec but more than i want to spend, plus i have a corded sds for serious drilling. so any thoughts ? thanks carl

  21. how does everyone listen to their music??? computer ,spotify, cd ,vinyl, shellac, cassette. i am a cd man mainly, bit on the net with mixcloud, some vinyl but a bit of faf to put on.

  23. i wonder if the op mentioned the required part payment at the time of quoting?? if not then no wonder the client is getting pissed.

  25. its good for tying on blocks and capstans, with a couple of half hitches for back up, much easier and quicker than a timber hitch, i find a clove hitch on rigged timber hard to undo.
