  1. is that mtb trails in france?
  2. dont forget some bluetooth ear defenders if your planning full days strimming. also big strimmers go through a fair bit of fuel a day so factor that in.
  3. well i heard it was mainly young university age Buddhist women on board, doesnt sound half so threatening does it!!. fyi the article doesn't mention age sex or religion, neither did any of the other three articles i read.
  4. yes i know it was a screen shot, i assumed you read the article? yes its a serious question, so back to my original question.
  5. where in the article you posted did it state their age, sex or religion?
  6. sadly "competency" doesn't seem to be a prerequisite
  7. heres a great reagge mix imo
  8. ye they are good, my ones from aldi so maybe extra noisy.
  9. well i got a dewalt one today, not top of the range but seems ok, they did have the einhal one on offer with an impact driver too,was kinda tempted but find the noise of the impacts a bit annoying. the milwaukee one was there too looked great but bit steep for my needs ( not trade, just heavy diy.) still not sure whether i should have got another makita but il see how this one goes. thanks for the replies. carl
  10. looking to replace an old makita cordless drill, i was thinking to get a new makita bare unit and another fresh battery but for similar money i could get a dewalt drill and two batteries and the dewalt seems to have higher torque spec. had a look at millwaukee mega spec but more than i want to spend, plus i have a corded sds for serious drilling. so any thoughts ? thanks carl

  16. anyone here like wordle?!! there is a board game thats exactly the same ( yes its a bit analog) it seems pretty good called "wordlet"
  17. i wonder if the op mentioned the required part payment at the time of quoting?? if not then no wonder the client is getting pissed.
  18. you could try the cow hitch
  19. its good for tying on blocks and capstans, with a couple of half hitches for back up, much easier and quicker than a timber hitch, i find a clove hitch on rigged timber hard to undo.
  20. ye tricky alright, although as a non national living in ireland iam not about to get my pitch fork out. i think a lot of the more extreme stuff is being promoted by the same people who started the anti lockdown stuff, which i find the switch scary. that said another news article said there were 75 social houses for rent in cork and in 2 months they had 15k applicants!!
  21. https://news.sky.com/story/how-international-social-media-users-are-stoking-irelands-migration-debate-13127034 thought this was interesting.
  22. not really the ethos of the thread......but a welcome change
  23. in reference to the highlighted sentence of your post i quoted.
  24. how do you feel about the lesbians and gays then?
