  2. nice mate u didnt go for the yellow side in the end (if u put dog roses through them watch out make shore u got long sleaves on they snach them out ur hands and boy it hurts)
  3. i gess i can make do with the 390xp but if i want that little bit more i will buy the 66 think form what ur sayin matty i should spend that little bit more and have more off a saw than what i need just incase i need it at some point make sence to me mate cheers think u lot have made me mind up the 660 just wait to see if i get the jobs now :thumbup:
  4. im not really worryed if it had a 28 inch bar i was just saying i would like a saw around the 30ich bar mark i would like the 660 but if i only use the saw now and again is it worth nearly 200 pound more than the 390xp
  5. i no this is another what chainsaw to buy thread (sorry) but i need a bigger saw i run a ms 441 as my biggist saw with a 20inch on her. bin doing some pricing latly and one job to day with some big trunks i could just about cut them up with my 441 but why struggle. im not really intrested in getting into real big trees as iv always said i dont realy want to do anything my 441 cant do. but iv come across some pollarded willows that need to come out and some small fat trunked chestnuts. now iv got 4 saws in mind i would like the 660 but my wallet ent really that fat at the moment so thought about the 650 no there ent really that much money between the 2 then looked at Husqvarna (always bin a stihl man) and looked at the 390xp and 395xp just wondered what people think about these saws. i really want to run a 30inch bar any good points and bad point about the 4 saws would be great i need a bit off help to make up my mine form people that have used them thanks for any help martin

  9. we use this nice bit off kit not top end off the market but it works really well u can cyt up and down as long as the grass ent to long other wise u have to through the grass cuttings away from the grass ur just about to cut (round in a circle) hope this helps u a bit Grasshopper Mowers > Products > MidMount Series

  11. no idea on price andy hope u find a good price on the movable spout iv use the 300 with out one and after i got mine i really find it nice and use it all the time ad15 i take it we will be seein some nice new shiny yellow jo-beau pics on hear soon u wont regret it mate

  13. iv used a 300 now own the 400 there ent much diffrence in the two machines like andy said the 400 has movable spout and the 20hp engine has that little more kick to it but the m300 is on hell off a machine and if that was the price diffrence when i brought the 400 i would now have a 300. you can get a movable spout for the 300 andy

  20. i will sub the grinding out as i do to all the stumps i get might be able to do it in 2 day like woodpicker and ukminch said. i think i would like to put a fair price on it, would like to learn off the tree rather than make a nice profit i could sub in someone witch i was thinking about till it was just pointed out i would not really learn form doing it this way mite have to work for less money to get good experience and hope i learn quick and get quicker as the first day goes on
  21. well i dont think i could do it in a day i think i my ask josharb87 if he wants to sub for me this is my first big job iv bin given and want to get it rite if i can. i will take some more pic tomorrow post them on here i would love to do the job my self but think it will take me 3 days to do the job and clear up. as most off u are saying a day i might try to sub josh as i done really want to rip the customer off
  22. yes 16 meters wide and that glass house u see in the pic is right down one side off the trunk and it leans over that house i see if i can get more pic tomorrow as im going back to talk to the bloke (oh and the real nasty thing about the tree is the amount off pigeon s*****t there is in it)
  23. i was thinking 3 day 2 bloke to bring it down and clean it all up take chips and saw dust away stack wood and u ent do much day light in december now got to think about price as i have already learnt about conifer they ent what they seem from the ground and grimd the stump out grindin area would be about 8 ft
  24. no room to winch it over brush drag would be 40 yards take chipes away leave logs and i no u cant really tell from pic really but it is bigger than the pic makes it look
