  1. no idea on price andy hope u find a good price on the movable spout iv use the 300 with out one and after i got mine i really find it nice and use it all the time ad15 i take it we will be seein some nice new shiny yellow jo-beau pics on hear soon u wont regret it mate

  3. iv used a 300 now own the 400 there ent much diffrence in the two machines like andy said the 400 has movable spout and the 20hp engine has that little more kick to it but the m300 is on hell off a machine and if that was the price diffrence when i brought the 400 i would now have a 300. you can get a movable spout for the 300 andy

  5. sorry to sound stupid i take it the saw pod straps to ur leg like the Silky Sugoi does and the next q is where do i get one from as i use the Silky Natanoko and always thought it would be better on me leg

  10. i will sub the grinding out as i do to all the stumps i get might be able to do it in 2 day like woodpicker and ukminch said. i think i would like to put a fair price on it, would like to learn off the tree rather than make a nice profit i could sub in someone witch i was thinking about till it was just pointed out i would not really learn form doing it this way mite have to work for less money to get good experience and hope i learn quick and get quicker as the first day goes on
  11. well i dont think i could do it in a day i think i my ask josharb87 if he wants to sub for me this is my first big job iv bin given and want to get it rite if i can. i will take some more pic tomorrow post them on here i would love to do the job my self but think it will take me 3 days to do the job and clear up. as most off u are saying a day i might try to sub josh as i done really want to rip the customer off
  12. yes 16 meters wide and that glass house u see in the pic is right down one side off the trunk and it leans over that house i see if i can get more pic tomorrow as im going back to talk to the bloke (oh and the real nasty thing about the tree is the amount off pigeon s*****t there is in it)
  13. i was thinking 3 day 2 bloke to bring it down and clean it all up take chips and saw dust away stack wood and u ent do much day light in december now got to think about price as i have already learnt about conifer they ent what they seem from the ground and grimd the stump out grindin area would be about 8 ft
  14. no room to winch it over brush drag would be 40 yards take chipes away leave logs and i no u cant really tell from pic really but it is bigger than the pic makes it look

    conifers

    after the first conifer job i did i didnt get the price rite i have bin asked to price this one up its a removel 16m wide 5ft trunk and 3 glass house round the trunk and a 5m drop zone round the bottem off the trunk is a best off a tree so any advice would be great and what price they think the may charge thanks for anyhelp martin
  17. no mate got me eyes on something else bit bigger use the jo-beau thought about the truck loader long and hard but as i got some bigger jobs offered to me for this winter coming as u will see in another thread didnt see the point in the end
  18. i have a m400 is one hell off a machine for a small chipper i would never change it. i think the m400 is a more stable machine thats what i think anyway but there ent really much between the 2 chippers my m400 for thoughs off u that ent seem sorry to the ones that have [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXGQvd0AYUc]YouTube - jo beau m400[/ame]

  23. hi i have a job come up in a conservation area first one iv done i always phone the tree officer to make shore off tpo etc. iv bin told by the home owner they live in a conservation area keep trying to get hold off the tree officer but cant all the tree is a sycamore growing through telephone cables about 18inch round at the base and they want it removed just wondered if someone can give me a bit off advice on the whole conservation area thing thanks for any help anyone can give me martin
  24. i have used stihl and husky if i had a choice what clearing saw i would use it would be the fs 450 or 480 dont realy think u can go wrong with any off the big clearing saws
