  1. thats what i was thinking this tree has bin pollared for years the trunk is about 10ft round pollared about 15ft up and got about 3 years growth on it think im going to try talking to them tomorrow
  2. im ament to be pollarding a river willow (blue one) tomorrow i need advice on what the heat will do to the willow as iv tryed asking then to wait till it gets a bit colder but they want it done so what effects will the heat have on the willow
  3. all the stihl clearing saw iv had love the fuel but i would rather have somthing that works really well. i have had nothing to do with husq clearning saws but just spoke to a mate that has one and he said he would not change it for a stihl but whats he no lol i would not change me fs480 for anything . i dont really think u can go wrong with any of the big saws mate i think is all about personal preference and where ur closest dealer is or u can get the best deal pm justin (jonies) see what he think what he sells the most of see what kind off a price they are go for a stihl mate :thumbup::thumbup:
  4. fs 400,450 or the one i love using is the 480 great machine so so much power dont no about the husq side of things but any of the machines aboth are good clearing saws hope that helps mate
  5. cant tell u the answer to the more power thing mate iv used the 2 man stihl machine i no what u mean me and my dad tryed to hang on to it once when we hit some tree roots u cant hold on it it for love nor money they have loads of gut to them i see a demo in heavy clay of that barreto and the demo bloke as always made it look so easy they are good machines and was just giving S.VARTY some in put on diffrent machines also if ur looking at one man machines or two man tanaka:thumbup1:Tanaka TEA-500 Two-man Post Hole Digger Tanaka TIA-350PFS One-man Post Hole Digger
  6. iv seen a demo of this looked good mate or try a tanaka post hole borer as they feel better than the stihl Hire Barreto - Products - Compac Post Hole Borer

  9. if im leavin all waste on site i charge 130 per bloke and 90 per day for the jobeau m400 so 350per day hope that helps mate
  10. iv used the 460 for a day great saw loads of power mate run it with a 25inch bar all day it will take it but i would say the anti vibration ent all that good. if ur looking for a 20inch saw where u can use a 25inch bar everynow and again the 441 would be my choice mine love the 20inch bar anyway hope u enjoy the saw u end up buying

  12. i have a 441 and it has the 20 inch bar on it all the time apart from when i want to mill something. i use it as my main ground saw iv got a 260 but dont really use it anymore i alway pick the 441 up now great saw mate. i was going to buy the 361 but glade i got the 441 instead
  13. thats why it didnt turn out the way i wanted it to is that gap got to keen and made a bad cut is that what u do tommer that ent a bad idea
  14. josh what do u use to tie a bigger saw to ur harness as the bungee one i use for me 200 dont really feel safe with the 441 hanging of it
  15. just tought i would share todays job as it was such a hot day i cant belive i done it. took 3 big limbs off a pine and dead wooded it witch for some reasion me camera cant remember taking but i can, took the pine out in the pic, reduced and shaped the beach witch didnt turn out as well as i hoped, took a limb off the cork oak and took all the green out of the acer negundo first time iv done something like that what a game every time u turn round there is one more green bits laughing at u sorry only got one before and after pic witch it the beach and its the first time i took something bigger than a ms200 up a tree took the 441 on spikes to the pine once i took top off it so im happy

  17. u want a ground saw (great all rounder try to get ur hands on a 361 with a 18inch bar ) nice light saw. great saw to climb with and a great ground saw thats what i would go for if u was after a stihl mate

  22. is there any reasion why there is 2 sliding D rings on it. im using a Komet Butterfly 2 Harness with one D ring just wondered why there was 2 ?

  24. rite im starting to understand where do i get cylinder and piston kit and exhaust modes form i take it with any mod u have to richin the fuel on the carb and also does the engine run cooler with the exhaust mod
