  1. If your in a healthy sexual relationship with a woman, it probably means you wear gloves. Look at your hands right now. Are they split and ingrained with tannins and diesel or grease? Rough right down to the fingertips? Where do you think your gonna put them? Hey I dont always wear gloves, but sometimes I do. What could be more manly than having hands fit to caress the body of a woman?
  2. I think good climbers should be on £200 a day plus. But they're not. Reality isn't just.
  3. that'll be the instructors who are on £500 a day.
  4. Please no need to thank me....
  5. That's insane. £70 would be spot on. nearer to £200!! I don't know what to do with that information. Who let them think that they could expect anything over £100?
  6. songs I am listening to?
  7. Hard workers are forged by their parents. If they end up with tickets years later, they'll get snapped up. the rest will wander aimlessly around like brain damaged meer cats. A good employer will see beyond present capability and know the potential underneath. Trouble is when they piss off after years of `under-wingness' (making it up as I go along) leaving the boss without.
  8. Started by my good freind Mr the `Basil'. When legislation comes in preventing you from sport shooting, it will be because there was not enough boring politically correct rhetoric around now. Personally I'm a fan of politically correct. Never understood what was wrong with being right, or indeed just. good luck with the girlfriend situation.
  9. How do you know if you've really woken up?
  10. That's not a dream.
  11. Never mess with the SS, sorry the inland revenue.
  12. Depends how windy it is
  13. pleased with yourself? that'll be the red wine. OS maps at half price. I'd buy em even if I was never going there. Good haul.
  14. Clean Krabs with Hot soapy water. Lubrication: NPTC advice seems to drift from WD40 to graphite powder on a regular basis. Cleaning with graphite wont work.
  15. One of my faves. saw them a few times back in the day. 6 music is great.
  16. No No. rather embarrassingly that was a leg injury. see an old thread `scars'. The arm is healing a treat mate. Thanks.
  17. How was your 80ft dead beech?
  18. Dude, you undermine any stance you have as soon as you start talking about it being fun to rub such things in the faces of people you describe as antis. Anyone wanting to maintain the tradition of shooting would be well advised to not use such language. Also it's just not polite, seeing as there are so many `antis' in this industry and presumably on arbtalk. I was hoping that humor would make the point. sorry for confusion. Hope I have made my point succinctly. Cheers.
  19. What can I say to that. other than yes
  20. It's great that all came down safe and sound. The tales around a pint tonight will be great. Kind of jealous of the experience. Having been through the same myself. Not sure about what the police had to say. what's been the Mountain rescue point of view on the decision to carry on with the event. sorry I'm assuming you know all.
  21. My tent has two doors too.
  22. FF to 5:25 [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bRzUbJUtfYE[/ame]
  23. I love it when the weather all goes hellish. as long as I'm on a nice bit of a mountain and not gripped up on some desperate sandbagged route. Knowing that it will all eventually end and I can have a pint next to a fire makes it seem bearable. Not seen the news, but listening to it all day. Sounds a touch nasty.
  24. No such thing. Hard work never killed anyone. Been killing the working classes for centuries. Work with your hands? Eat lunch with those same hands, your not going to ever get a decent wage. **** about in the city making money between lines of coke and liquid lunches in spearmint rhino's and hey here is a £million bonus. Not that there's a chip shop on my shoulder.
