  2. my pictures were taking last june.......pik up all fixed.........BUT heres a lesson for all us Vat people on small business %.....when i took van n for insurance repair they asked if i was vat reg. Although lorry company took full responsibilty i had to pay the vat on repair....about £700. i argued my case with the Vat people sayin it was coming out of my pocket not my vat..I HAD TO PAY IT....so if it happens to u tell Repair company u r not vat reg,,,,,,, and liable persons insurance company will pik it up
  3. details leading up..............i had gone off to price a job 10 miles away decided to take the car instead of pick up.....when headin away i noticed artic headin up our road, strange cos its a dead end...no matter off i went.........10 miles later got a call to say frickin artic run into my pick up... parked outside my frickin house.......he had reversed back down the road approx 300 yards turned too early and the rest is history........the best of it was....he had co pilot who should have been out guidin him back before he reversed on to main road

  6. Lowered a decent Pop today with Moon Blaster...... had a telephone pole 2 foot from tree with 8 Fricking wires coming off it to different houses........the biatch of a job unless u know better?????

  13. crown reduction in stika spruce plantation i may have room for 1 more climber, starting end of april/may. may suit local climber wanting to fill up his week. aint for the faint hearted, u aint climbin multi limbed hardwoods. pm me if interested g
  14. My favourite tree too. Weed of the wood is actually the Beech
  15. u wouldnt be calling them weeds if u had a rippled sycamore butt.....sycamore has many uses especially top quality furniture, also used for bread and butchers cutting board as its doesnt stain the meat. the probelm with the sycamore is ability to self seed better than any other tree.

  20. another plus being vat reg. it helps ur cash flow saves u dipping into the red with the bank, extra 17 1/2% helps. as long u have good paying on time clients. g
  21. found the probelm.........a loose spade connection in relay box.....relays ok...took the wires out connected direct to relays and everything working now, tightened them up for now, better replace spades i think. ty all for ur help g

  23. if i remember right those masseys only cost £400 when new..maybe should have invested in them not my van goghs lol
  24. remember the climbing is always the easiest and quickest part....the clearing up is the hardest part. esp. on conifers. try and work out the man days and the chipper cost and the cost of removal of waste/wood and it helps if u can add good too.....good luck mate
