  3. caught the last 10 mins.......lol.......commenator says shes felled 20 tonnes tree more like 3 to 4cube......mind u if the girls want to help me out for a few days i am sure my squad will accommodate them g

  8. a few years back i did a softwood thinnings at Ammunition Depot Bishopton Glasgow, they made nitroglycerin bombs there. Wouldnt let u smoked n there lol strange. Siren would go off every hour or so as they tested the bombs under ground.

  19. no pics sorry, help if u can....fungus is high up on ash tree when i saw it n the summer it looked like Ganoderma applanatum..a few beech nearby are in fected.....was on site today, said fungus has turned jet black over winter? prognosis?

  21. i passed said tree today, and have passed by it many times in the past. at one time they was a line of 20 or so.....they have felled 14 or so up to that tree.unfortunately it fell but there still remains 4, cant see the reason for keeping them. in the interest of public safety they should be felled g

  23. i cant believe u cant sharpen them when dull......something must b out there to sharpen them up??????
  24. the power lines are 11kv, anything with a transformers etc on a pole is 11/20kv......u CANNOT fell anything within 2 tree lengths of the line without informing ur Electrical Controller. if the branches are within 2 metres or would enter 2 metres when cut , of the live line then it will have to be a shutdown and even then u have to have correct tickets. i suggest u take the pole number and branch line and report the tree to ur local energy supplier g
