  1. i personally dont sell firewood, burn most of arb wood myself, giv rest away to friends etc. working on the principle u get 2 builders bags out of 1 ton wood how many people sell over 400 bags a season.
  2. if u want to come and fell it and extracted it. ill giv u as much scots pine as u want............12 pound at roadside for pine chip i can find better ways of making a pound
  3. depends on the quality and size, oak is sellng well ....pine u cant gve it away.

  12. only system that i saw that worked, was low leading long pole over the top of a digger into piles for the harvester to process. no need to back tie, and only needed bottom tree or large stump to attach strop and pulley to.

  15. fun to drive, nver drove a diesel, petrol engines were very thirsty, they are quite heavy vehicles, dont suppose diesel much better, with the right tyres they go anywhere

  18. having not seen the watchdog progamme busy watching eastenders LOL... Anyway in the middle of the job 2day, pollarding 3 sycs, take down of 3 cedars, a member of the public was standing on the opposite pavement watching us 10 mins or so, i ventured across expecting the usually verbal., to my surprise he proceeded to comment on lastnites watchdog programme and how glad he was to see our job being professionally done. Half a dozen business cards in his hand for his friends and family and a pat on his back i sent him on his merry way:thumbup1:

  20. luckily mate some1 from green machine ran over it when i was subbie climbing for them and upm bought me a new ms200t to replace it, its been in the corner of my shed for 3 years , parts were priced at 146.....i got them all for a tenner worth a rebuild....it wasnt 3 months old when run over so stil bags of power.

  22. rebuilding a runover husky climbing saw, managed to buy a whole body for a tenner on fleabay, got everything onto the new shell, only probelm i have is the 2 screws that go thru the carburettor onto the body are not getting enough of a catch, causing the saw to draw air. the screws are the tap in type, i cant put a nut on the inside. Ideas pls
