  1. Jan/feb goes quiet but im a young company busy time for me march-dec.
  2. Am i reading this right if you dont have a ticket you dont know what your doing. Every time i hear this makes me laugh i done many windblown i dont have that ticket i learned from people who have 35-50 years experiance with all kinds of situations. People get the impression once you have a ticket you can do it thats just wrong. Im just offering a valid opinion. Learn the job before you waste good money on tickets if you pass these courses with no experiance there just a waste of time.
  3. Sometimes you are more competitive especially this time of year and it does bite you in the asse i got a massive conifer to do through the house to i knew the price was tight but you still make a pound just not as many. SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUT
  4. We tried this with some conifers, but we still got them, which was a nightmare I hate that when you put a big price on cos you dont want it then they go ok. Oh yes i had the it look small conifer but inside its a block of wood lol.
  5. I take it you sell them. Are they as strong as the buckingham titaniums.
  6. I like the sound of this saw nice for reductions then your 200t for bigger stuff the lighter you can get the better dont use more than you need for each job. how much are they uk
  7. i just give a price then turn up when agreed to do the work always confirm price again before starting. a quote on paper is not worth nothing they can still argue. If i get the feeling there after a dirt cheap job i just whack a massive price and go home you know you wont get it any way.
  8. I want a mog will def get one when got some spare funds. They are the business.
  9. roll ups dont last long metal is heavy i think the plastic ones are good strong light dont break so easy.
  10. And like i said they are not bullet proof this is boring me now can we move on.
  11. 2001 ill put pic with ruler later gotta go out now some of us have work to do lol.
  12. My infeed is 6inches across plus about 1 cm and 11 inches from top to bottom i measured out of curiosity. I did not state bearings fail because of blades just that keeping them sharp increases the machines overall life. My only quibble is the timberwolf is a excellent machine and its good value to me any way nice and light i move it myself fits down tight spaces really great all rounder for small firms. Just annoys me when people say they are crap the only one worth mentioning is the schlipoops there good but not that good.
  13. Change your blades once a week what ever its £5 to have them sharpened. sharp blades reduces any excess stress on the engine bearings the whole drive chain. Bearings are cheap 60 for all 3 30-60 to have them changed so cheap. The reason these machines were breaking is people not changing the blades enough trying to get to many hours out of them. There alot cheaper than there main competition there parts are cheaper. There alot smaller and 6 inch by 11 inch is fine its not a trunk chipper:fight:lol
  14. Well when im climbing to my anchor im not using a chainsaw its on the ground. oh and how can i use my rope if its not at the anchor if the post was read correctly i was talking about climbing to set your anchor.
  15. any one who had a timberwolf and has problems probly dont look after them.
  16. Well my opinion of some one offering remarks like that are low. Punctation makes no difference. I cant believe how many times i come across childlike remarks to other people and now to me you offer your own opinion and some people will always find fault. Im not interested in discussing this any further in future rude remarks will be ignored.
  17. This is a forum not an english lesson. Im fine with peoples opinions just not some gay remarks.
  18. wud i have asked the question if i new the answer. spike is removable normal rubber sole sorry did i miss something.
  19. Where do you get not using there ropes properly did you just wake up or are you talking about yourself.
  20. Thats a wonderful idea ill sell all my equiptment at a loss and then go on the doll Psycological downer long word is that since that is such a useless post ill ignore it.
  21. I know you can earn good money in the commercial side but the hassell out ways it for me at the mo any way.
