  1. i was only there as a cutter so no waste etc, i dont wanna go down this route but cant see any other way of getting my money. hes also about 200 miles away so id rather not go down to see him. im sick of wasting time trying to get it, writing a letter is another 20 mins of my life i shouldnt need to spend chasing it, infact the more i think about it the more annoyed i get. cheers for replies

  2. whats a govy job? im a subbie, this is just a job i got myself, one or two bits may just need lowering off and id rather have someone there in case.

stephen, no fraid not its a guy i used to work for, i was driving the dumper at the time, its the only time ive worn a seatbelt in a machine, tho it did show how strong railway sleepers are.

  3. ive got both, railway can be good as im findig at the moment but it can also be really bad, try smashing up bramble with a saw for half a mile. but money can be ok. i wouldnt bother with pts without getting work, im 99% sure you have to be sponsored anyway.

cscs is about 40-50 quid all in, sit an exam on health and safety and apply for a card, easy. its worth doing for the cost, though ive never got any work from it, better having than not.

  4. ive seen two things recently sold at arb shops online that seemed overly priced, one was £40+ while it could be found for £22 they are identical products. So do these shops make up selling some things cheaper by selling some stuff dearer. this isnt a dig at any shops just interested in the possible reasons.
