  1. Cheers guys I'll have a look for a local club or something. Nelson is a little far unless I can't find one closer
  2. I'm thinking of having a go and just wondered what the crack was. Where do people go? There's a canal near me but I'd imagine it might be a bit boring after a while. Also what to go for if I bought one. Cheers
  3. Hi people might be after a 360 prefer close to Newark. Anyone help? Anytime in the next year! Cheers mike
  4. Yeah it's pretty much just for Internet browsing and apps type things. Basically I've got an iPhone now and just get a bit tiresome of the small screen, hence the iPad. Not compared prices yet but they do seem a little steep, £580 for a 32 gb 3G! I didn't pay that for my laptop!
  5. Not sure if this has been covered before but couldn't find it under the search button. Think I'm gonna buy a tablet it'll probably be an iPad but wondering what else people are using, recommendations please.
  6. Bens miffed cos I had to have a restraining order put on him as he kept sitting outside my house!
  7. Yeah I've seen those around quite a bit. I'll give u a wave next time I'll be in a black astravan
  8. Here's mine, not stood on top tho
  9. I work for renown railway services which are an agency
  10. I'll be honest I'd of been happy sitting in an air con office today.... Well for about 10 minutes anyway
  11. Haha it'd also have doubled the weight with your axle haha I didn't know that about the moisture, obvious now you've said it though.I dOnt really wanna buy any more oil though, just had a thought if there's some way I could put something in there, like in a toilet cistern to increase the level. Have to have a think
  12. Probably is slower than a tractor driven one but I don't have a tractor and I'm not buying one just to run a splitter that'd hardly be worthwhile  It's only really to split my own logs we burn about 6-10ton in winter and I was getting fed up of splitting with an axe
  13. I struggled to get a tank to be honest, and that one came up cheap it's not full though, about half
  14. After finally pulling my finger out, and with loads of top advice from people on jere I finally finished my splitter. So thought I'd put a post up to give people who are thinking of it some ideas. I was really wanting to do a horizontal/vertical one but with the size/style of ram I used it wasn't really pratical. It's powered with a 13hp Honda copy running an 8cc pump, will probably get a bigger one at some point. So here's some pics of the build. There's still a couple of things to do like mudguards and fixed lights
  15. I fit all four criteria, just a shame I wasn't at the front of the queue for looks haha
  16. Like I've said before things will only get worse paywise. Colleges are churning out climbers and cutters monthly/weekly/whatever all these people are wanting jobs as well as those already trained, it's basic business supply and demand, don't think theres a lot we can do about it
  17. I've not got one but be interested to have a nosey. Anyone got a pic of the front area?
  18. It's item number 110869373624 and just says for tree climbing I've emailed him to ask.
  19. I'll try a search then cheers
  20. As above saw this in eBay, couldn't think what it was for?
  21. 200t with a 14" bar. We have some husky ones at work and there rubbish, they sound like a small strimmer engine and the exhaust burns your hands when your chogging down!
