  12. Ok spoke to the local bee keepers association and theynsaid as they are in the ground they are very hard to move so he said leave them as they will be gone in autumn or he said a petrol soaked rag down the hole and light it!! Will have a think about it for now. Thanks for advice guys.
  13. Thanks guys. I need rid of the bees as I need to fill the bay and can't expect a hired in log splitter to stand there with these little dudes flying around and the bees are near the back of the bay so need to fill way past them. I read about the red light so will uses that and will try the bee killer, it's not the way I wanted but needs must as I have quite a bit of timber ringed up read to split. Cheers guys.
  14. Hi all, I have a bumble bee nest in one of my log bays. I hoped they were in the pallet but when I removed the pallets I can see them going under the wood debris and into the ground. I have read up on them a little saying they should be gone by october but I need them gone now. Anyone got any ideas/advice please?

  16. Think this is the right thread for this. A nice little Mac I saw yesterday. It's growing next to an old mac stump and then using it for a rest.

    What a shame

Took down this decayed ash yesterday but the owner wants it all for firewood! I would love to see it milled and made into something more exciting than heat and smoke. Nevermind, you can't win them all.
  18. Easy cheap things to do are replace the fuel filter behind the drivers rear wheel as this gets binges up easily. When changed or even before you can prime the fuel system. Turn the ignition on and press the throttle down 6 times, you will then hear the pump priming the system. Once finished priming try starting her again. You can unplug the air mass plug by the air filter and see how she starts then as if it's failing it will run better unplugged. Also on the inlet manifold there is a little plug with a sensor in the manifold. You can undo the two screws and it may be totally gummed up due to the egr. If the ecu is defo oil free then hopefully one of the above will make a difference to the running to give you an idea of where to go next. I do recommend getting her plugged in at a diagnostic garage and for £25 the comptuers cleared and go from there. Hope this helps
  19. Ok all done and only cost me £240 as I took the diff out and put it back in again setting the preload and backlash up. Just turned the diaphragm a bit too to compliment my larger intercooler. Blooming lovely now!
  20. Gearbox came from ashcrofts but now get local transmission guy to fix bits. Half the price and I take the parts off and take to him to save the labour. Torbay transmissions is who I use here in Devon.
  21. Yeah thanks tommer, g.box rebuilt 2 years ago, transfer box done 12 months ago, props have no play in uj and rear diff is leaking and I can push the pinion up and down so transmission guy said diff defo needs doing first to get that sorted then see if transfer box is knackered again as it ran very low on oil.
  22. Yep I have been quoted £400 so hope to stop the whining and slop in the drivetrain.
  23. Not much appreciation for my 130 at the moment. Rear diff will be coming out next week for a rebuild! Bloody trucks. Gearbox stopped leaking so I checked the level, transfer box took just over a litre, bugger! Never mind, she keeps on trucking.
  24. Ok had another go today and this is the outcome. Much better and I had a mate help guide the mill along. I plan to make a table out of this Oak but have never really worked with wood so always looking out for deigns to copy ish. I painted the ends if it looks funny.
