  1. I'll look into them as well Mick, I used to use them on the London to Brighton bike ride. I know use them on a session with the wife:001_tt2:
  2. Need a bit of feedback, thinking of putting energy bars and drinks into the new shop. If you was in my shop would you buy? I think it's more of an impulse buy in store, but I would put them on the website as well just to see if they sold. Let me know your thoughts, we are trying to cover new things in the new place and I just thought of this 10 mins ago. Let me know if you think I'm mad.
  3. Just updated the blog on our website about the move, loads of new pictures as well. Lot of work going on, but it should be ready in time to open in the new year.
  4. Our insurance covers us for shows, and I've just had a quote from trust and that covers me as well. Go back to your current insurer I'm sure they should be able to do it.
  5. Good bit of kit and we should be competitive as well and in stock:thumbup: RC3001 single bollard lowering device | F R Jones and Son Don't forget we don't charge postage over £50
  6. Sam After thinking about it until Mick's back I don't want anyone else messing with the saw and I'm away sorting other stuff. So I've sent you a brand new one out, we have swapped the air filter cover and side case for the ones on your original, as I'll have to sell this one second hand. We don't normally have a problem with quick repairs, but short of staff and holidays mixed in with building a new place is putting us under a bit of pressure. Give it a week or so and we will be back on top of things. You should get the saw tomorrow (Wednesday the 5th). Sorry about all the trouble. Justin.
  7. Roughly but they will need a slight tweak.

  8. Hi Sam Sorry it's not gone as it should and normally does. I'am away in Devon for the next couple of days working and Mick our top Sthil guy is on holiday, I'll give them a ring and get it sorted for you asap. We normally get machines turned around in a couple of days but with Mick away and the start of colleges and moving we are a bit busy. Leave it with me. Justin:001_smile:
  9. No problem is that my matt that's in? If enough other people want it any chance of a second boat?
  10. I got me, plip, mat, and John in, maybe be 2 more as well.
  11. The battery is 80% recyclable and they do a solar charger for it as well.
  12. Yes Andy they run a sparkless motor and as they become more popular the prices will drop. I think with the technology changing so quick, give it 15 years and you'll all be using them. They are bringing out a battery ride on lawnmower soon.
  13. Hi It is a climbing saw and will last a hole day on a charge, they do a climbing battery for it Pellenc Ultra Lithium Poly 5 500Wh battery pack (with harness) | F R Jones and Son very thin and light. It's not for everyone and is expensive, but no service cost or fuel cost I have got a chart which I'm going to put up on the site soon it shows that after 2 years it's paid for itself and then will only cost 8p a day to charge. It is aimed at the golf course market and hospitals ect... where noise is an issue.
  14. No sorry not up that far.
  15. We used to sell as kits, but we always had to change out bits and swap the harness, so it never really worked. If you give us a bell we can put something together for you. Or pop in and try a few on. Where abouts are you as we are on the road with a van over the next few weeks if we are passing your way we can always stop by.
  16. Now Now guys, let's not derail this thread. We sell a lot of it with no complaints.
  17. I use it on my Laptop not my Ipad, but they may do an Ipad version. I think it's based for colleges and can do loads more than I need, but it helps me get a plan from my head to a screen. This is a screen shot of mine. Here's a link to a clip about it, and you can get a free 30 day trial. Inspiration Video
  18. Well I should be going through the most stressful time, trying to run the company and sort out a new place at the same time. I seem to be coping well at the moment. I'm working a silly amount of hours but I think it's helping me keep control of everything. I've found this great simple computer programme that you can put things down on lists, change colours for priority jobs, link things together etc.... I'll post it up later it's helped me work hints out. This thread has reminded me I need to book a massage.
  19. He's not in today, got a toothache, bless.
  20. I'm in.
  21. We are looking for someone to help in our shop, taking, picking and packing orders. Serving customers and answering phones. We are moving to bigger premisses at the end of the year and need someone to understand how we work before the move. A bit of knowledge would be helpful, writing I can read would be a bonus, and I need a good drinking partner as the last one I got from here is good at his job, but crap with his beer. You will need to be able to handle a good bit of banter and work under pressure, so if you think your up for it give us a PM and I'll get back to you.
  22. As long as no one from my place is away or I'm away, then I'm up for it. Could do with a days break.
  23. Stihl and Oregon manufacture themselves, Most if not all Stihl chain is made in Austria if I remember correct. The only problems we have seen is if your making your own chains and the spinner is worn, it won't spread the rivet properly allowing the chain to much play at the link. This can cause chains to snap.
  24. Hi All We have put up a blog on our website with pictures and news about the new place, I'm going to try and keep it updated daily as there it's lots going on and will add pictures as and when thing take shape. Looking forward to the big day, but it's going to be hard work getting it all together.
  25. Should be in stock with us. Part number 42037914600 £2.80 + VAT:001_smile:
