i've just got back from working in and around stavanger, stunning area. sadly, i didn't have time to do much leisurely stuff, had a couple of dips in a fjord or two, that was about it. i wasn't far from the preikstolen which would have been nice to see. it was also absolutely scorching there. have a nice time, i really enjoyed the country and its inhabitants.

the lost gardens of helligan (sp) are ace
  5. give examples of what jobs you've been involved in? my cv's pretty pathetic, so not one to give advice really.
  6. germany have got some top players - lahm, frings, ballack, podolski and klose are all head and shoulders above any english players when it comes top international tournaments. mertesacker and metzelder, however, are a pair of clowns.
  7. the stones and the temptations, 3 awesome songs mixed together, works surprisingly well.
  8. unbelievable, i think they're still selling tickets now. i think everyone's fed up with the rain so giving it a miss this year. not too sure about the lineup myself, though unkle and massive attack both playing is worth the ticket fee alone for me.

never seen that before, very funny had a look for some clips of 'pop' from the league of gentlemen but not a sausage. here's some legz akimbo instead [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CzYEvgfl3k]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CzYEvgfl3k[/ame]
  10. friday was pretty killer, was wearing type c's on the ground all day and somehow still had my legs feasted on by the midgies. the cretins.
  11. slaughterhouse 5 by kurt vonnegut is my favourite book. it's a kind of semi-autobiography recounting his experience of the dresden firestorm during ww2, with a little time-travelling thrown in for good measure.
  12. i use limewire and it's fine. i'm a complete tool when it comes to computers, but as long as you have some decent anti-virus software you shouldn't have any worries
  13. lcd soundsystem - all my friends, good tune [ame= ] [/ame]
  14. i had the same when i had suspected appendicitus...luckily the dr was an absolute dreamboat!
  15. a mate of mine is some sort of amateur ultimate fighting champ, he tries his moves out on me now and then despite my protests.
  16. this thread's gone to sleep! a bit of leftfield should wake it up [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6GIj0k6ULA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6GIj0k6ULA[/ame]
  17. some odds and sods from the last year or 2 massive attack, westonbirt arboretum, july 2006 biarritz beach - hot women everywhere, june 2006 the world famous bridgwater carnival, november 2006 dresden skyline, march 2007 me and some rad wheels - my mate's dad's renault 4 van, feb 2007 (note the double yellow parking - renault 4 vans can park wherever the f**k they like)
  18. gutted, that was a nice motor mate. similar thing happened to me last year, overtaking someone who then turns right without indicating. he followed me all the way to the lights, stopped in front of me, gave me a load of lip through my driver's window, held a fist to my face before buggerring off. i was speechless. luckily for him i'm a tame kind of bloke, not sure many others would have taken so kindly to his behaviour.
  19. nch arb, cannington college, somerset.
  20. "like an ice cream van on acid..." spot on [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK7QrVQa7vE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK7QrVQa7vE[/ame]
  21. i'll have that in my head all day now
  22. yeah, i love unkle, james lavelle rocks my cock and here's why.[ame= ] [/ame]
  23. dj shadow playing unkle's lonely soul [ame= ] [/ame]
  24. awesome, just awesome. i love massive attack, safe from harm is my favourite of theirs, still sounds as fresh today as it did when it first came out. if you like that, you'll love this incredible performance of 'roads' by portishead, beth gibbons can do no wrong in my eyes.[ame= ] [/ame]
