  1. Slow cooker day today. Back in November I got a butchered organic lamb from a customer. Decided to do a slow cooker Morrocan stew recipe today. Browned off the lamb bit in wok. Then fried onions, garlic ginger and lemon zest. Fried for a bit with spices, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon. then added stock and honey and the rest of the lemon with Black olives. Been on the go now for 6 hours. Give it a bit longer and then I’ll take the bones out. Add some fresh mint and serve.

  6. I have a couple of zero stretch (not literally but you get the point) ropes and they are nice to climb on but you wouldn’t want to take a drop using it. The Courant Squire has a bit of stretch but not that noticeable unless you are using most of the line. Mine is 60m so a 28 plus metre tree with a base tie. Plenty of decent ropes out there but I like the feel of the Courant. I recently spiked mine on a large dismantle so have cut it out. I will be buying another due to the cost.
  7. I would get the courant Squire. Used to be 100 quid ish for 60 m.
  8. Tachyon is bouncy as a ball when used SRT. decent hard wearing rope but there are better out there IME. I still have some I use for scabby Spruce or Pine but I am rarely ascending in the rope. Usually spikes and the rope is second anchor or as a means to get out of dodge should it be needed.
  9. First day of the year. Could have been worse. Could have been better. Wordle 1,292 4/6 β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬›β¬›πŸŸ© β¬›β¬›β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ© β¬›β¬›πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ© 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  10. Yes. Had a couple of the OG’s and then got the RRPro when it came out.
  11. I won’t be getting one I reckon. All the Maples I do are in Norway. 😜
  12. Same as Joe. Courant Squire. Low stretch, light and pairs up well with a Rope Runner Pro.

  15. Jamie Oliver Jerk Ham Recipe | Christmas Baked Ham Recipe THEHAPPYFOODIE.CO.UK Step up your Christmas ham with Jamie Oliver's Jerk Ham recipe from his Christmas cookbook, rubbed with... I’ll be honest though, I had some Jamaican rub and couldn’t be arsed to make from scratch.
  16. I remember years ago Jamie Oliver saying that the main ingredients for a flavouring a Christmas ham were almost the same as Jamaican Jerk. I always meant to try it but haven’t u til this year. Remembering my South London adopted Jamaican heritage. Give it a Jerk Pete.

  21. I agree. It shouldn’t be too hard but it h fortunately isn’t in their interests. See my post a few up.
  22. A Greek and an Irishman found themselves in a Starbucks one afternoon, casually chatting about the proud achievements of their respective cultures over steaming lattes. The Greek leaned back with a smile and said, β€œYou know, we built the Pantheon, not to mention the Temple of Apollo.” The Irishman nodded, taking a sip of his coffee. β€œImpressive, no doubt, but it was us Irish who discovered the significance of the Summer and Winter Solstices.” Not to be outdone, the Greek added, β€œAnd don’t forget, it was the Greeks who laid the foundations for advanced mathematics.” β€œFair enough,” the Irishman replied, β€œbut the Irish were the ones who crafted the first timepieces.” Sensing his moment to triumph, the Greek smiled knowingly. β€œAh, but remember, it was the ancient Greeks who introduced the idea of sex as a pleasurable activity!” The Irishman paused, set his cup down, and grinned. β€œThat’s true,” he said, β€œbut it was the Irish who got women involved.” 😍🀣🀩
  23. A bit like the RangeRovers being one of the easiest cars to clone the key and steal, on top of being desirable. The more that are stolen the more sales / replacement units paid for by the insurance companies. Hence they have no incentive to try and reduce the levels of theft.
  24. Thought it might have been my lucky day as well. Wordle had different thoughts. Wordle 1,285 5/6 β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ©β¬›β¬› β¬›β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
