  2. @mark_j Mark did you see or listen to the video I posted? It wasn’t about the hooligan element of the Macabi fans it was an Arab who lived in Nazareth and had been a lifelong supported of the team. A group of Brummie Pakistani descent came over during the interview and telling what it was like to live in Israel which the Israeli Arab denied. The irony being that they were arguing that the only reason he was Israeli was because the British Mandate had given the land to them. Are they so dumb that they had forgotten how Pakistan was formed in the first place? This is the mentality of some of the idiots who are at these Pro Palestine marches, demo’s etc.
  3. The material on the unicender is a lot thicker and more than likely stronger than the zig zaggy bits on this new device.

  5. but the main links are only one sided to allow the rope installation. Hence my comment of only half the material.
  6. Of course I would. You know I climb. Predominantly on SRT. In the same way, if you asked me to go from London to Newcastle I would get the train and not go by horse back. I try and use the most efficient method available. Why make things harder, none of us are getting any younger.
  7. Honest opinion here. I haven’t seen one in the flesh but initial observations. The zig zag bit on a zig zag was renowned for breaking. Making it midline attachable means there is half as much material there. Would that be strong enough or have decent longevity? The red bit looks too big and bulky. I fail to see why it would need to be that size, unless there is something I am missing. If there is some form or Chanel in there to kink the rope to make it operational in SRT why couldn’t they have done it similar to the HH and HH2? The swivel is a fix for a problem that I have never had. Tried a swivel years ago and took it off my bridge after a week or something like that. Maybe I have just got used to climbing g the way I climb but I doubt I would ever by a swivel for that purpose again. Given the option I would remove it. It isn’t perfect but I would rate the RRpro as one of the best devises. Slim, compact and works excellent on single line. Works decent enough on doubled rope. Ok, the RRPro isn’t perfect on doubled rope but I use it so irately it is t an issue to me. My doubled rope use is limited to geting a top anchor in a small tree and leaning around for pruning. Even then I often set the li e to single.
  8. Not without some form of RW or Chicane.
  9. Wordle 1,603 3/6 🟨⬛🟨🟨⬛ 🟨🟨⬛🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I thought I was doing well, got all excited and then looked on here. Lots of good scores so far today.
  10. My son has been hitting Thai pads since he was 4 years old, he is 18 now. Trains at least 4-5 times a week. He does Brazilian JJ and Muay Thai. The emphasis in in whatever competition he has coming up. At the moment he is training for a Muay Thai fight next weekend. So the emphasis has been on the hitting and not the choking. I am a large supporter of hitting pads. Seems to just clear my head even though I am often hanging out my arse but it feels great afterwards.
  11. Oof. Pulled that one out of the pan (just). Wordle 1,602 6/6 ⬛🟨⬛⬛🟨 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. Not sure what you mean by Interesting Framing? Enlighten me please, I am just a Northern Monkey. Oh, they make good Nature shit as well.
  13. That isn’t the point. Trump isn’t worried about you, you shouldn’t be worried about him. The point is this the BBC deliberately manipulated a narrative and spliced two totally unrelated parts of a speech which was over an hour long in order to make it seem something it wasn’t. Do you remember the Andrew Tate interview the BBC did whilst he was under house arrest in Romania? They released a completely doctored version of the interview which was full of leading questions. Andrew Tate had his own film crew there recording the whole interview. The BBC took their interview down quick sharpish after Tate released his version. He had an idea that is what they would do and sure enough The BBC were at it again. They have also been questioned over their Anti Semetic reporting of the Gaza Israel conflict. The list goes on. The only thing I look at the BBC for is their sport coverage. At least they would have trouble fabricating a bunch of lies about that.
  14. And you believe anything that comes from the BBC News? Anti semetic bunch of knobs who will peddle anything if it fits their agenda. Did you not see the latest one about their manipulation of the timeline from Donald Trumps Speech before the riots and marching on congress. Splicing together two clips that were 54 minutes apart to make it look like POTUS called in people to march and kill. It almost caused a civil war in the US and many people fell for it.
  15. I was at Stockton sixth form at the time. I seem to remember it was a Christmas order they screwed up. So for the months of Januauar and Feb they sold the beer s at 10p. My girlfriend at school, her father was partners with Javed Ahmed (the dude who owned the Mall and Busters then transformed the Macmillian Country Club to Club M). I think i was 16 the first time in the Mall. Many a night in the Mall but also spend a lot of the time in the Arena, Club M, The Empire and Back to Basics in Leeds. I was a bit of a raver 😀
  16. would that be classed as a post coital beverage?
  17. Did you ever go to Bianco’s in Stockton around 1991/2? IIRC they had screwed up the beer order and had a lot of surplus. It was a quid to get in and 10p a pint, limited to 4 pints per order, you almost had to swim to get to the bar it was that busy, I have never seen so many students looking green.
  18. Just get an old tool strip. The end with the ring for high attachment and cut off the bungee bit. Girth hitch it to the handle and you have a ring to hang on your carry tool. Personally I just use a large Bina in my tool strop. It fits the handles of rear handled saws and I clip it to my harness with that. Same as this video but obviously that isn’t a rear handled saws.
  19. I always used to do that, go backup and get it. Apart from the times I didn’t and lo and behold, it got stuck. I changed to SRT a lot of years ago. Hey presto, my cambium saver hasn’t got stuck since.
  20. I would speak to your insurance company and get legal advise.

  23. I don’t like them. They have been used on snowboard boots for over 25 years. They used to break in those. Great backup and guarantee from Boa but useless if you are at the top of a mountain and you need to get down. I can’t see how they would last in a tree climbing environment.
