  1. You are not really doing much to differentiate your self from them are you? Have you ever made a post in here that isn’t a cocky comment to try and garner laughs?
  2. Jeremy at Top Notch Tree Care is based in Purley. A.N Rowlands. Trees UK based in Bromley. ABM Trees based in Croydon. Love Trees based in Penge. Oxleas Tree Care based Bromley Area. Give these a call as they are well established companies and may be able to help out.

  4. Agree Mick. I did work for Greenwich Council about 20 years ago. Last just over 3 months. Couldn’t hack the lack of graft. I was young and hungry and couldn’t get my head round it. IME we could have done the same amount of work by 11 and had the rest of the day off. I literally could have had 2 jobs. Instead we left for site. Setup everything and then stopped for breakfast. Work for about and hour and then tear down the site to be back at the yard for 11 for an hour lunch. Back out at 12, set up the site and work till 1345 then tear the site down, back at the yard for 1430 and then sort paperwork out and go home. I couldn’t handle it. I did get a good tan though that summer.
  5. First go ever. Took 5. I had a hard day, or I am thick! Wordle 1,004 5/6 🟩⬛🟨🟨⬛ 🟩🟨🟨⬛⬛ 🟩🟨⬛🟨🟨 🟩⬛🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. Depends how much dog shit has been shovelled that day. 🤮
  7. Or cooking bacon on a shovel covered in tin foil.
  8. They often run skip chain on the larger bars. Less drag and cutting softwoods, it works. Also a point to note, in the PNW the ground is usually steep and often they can’t get round to double cutting on a treacherous slope. Hence the large bar length so all cuts can usually be done on the same side.
  9. haha. In your dreams🤪
  10. 4 years out of a saw. I bought my second 150t when I moved to Norway. That was 7 years ago now. The one before that was bought brand new/second had from a guy on here for 230 quid. I had that quite a few years before I moved to Norway. Both saws are still going strong. I would argue the first one I bought for the cheap price is a good value for money saw.
  11. I thought I was a decent climber. I have obviously been using the wrong parameters for measurement. 🤪
  12. A bit like Trigger’s Broom?
  13. I have tried one. They cut great no doubt. I just can’t get over the Fisher Price element. They just feel a bit flimsy.
  14. FTR I have one of the first 150’s and it still runs. How many can say that about the Echo? I have a second 150 and no drama with that saw either. Just drill the hole in the exhaust and little retune and it is a ripper. Yes, I know Joe and Mark will come and comment the Echo is fruitier out of the box. IMO, drilling one hole in the exhaust and then having a great saw is better that having a great saw and having to change the Ignition module, exhaust and air filter covers and the idle problems many have had over the years. As for the electric Makita, it is like carrying a brick about, has next to no power and quite frankly does make you into a Homosensual if you even touch one. 🤪
  15. Sad world we live in. I know a guy who tried to defend against thieves. He knew where they were entering his land through a gap in the hedgerow. He left a scaffold board with some very large nails in it in the ditch they had to cross. Halfway across the field all tires were flat. So for the audacity of defending his own property the thieves took it out on his kit. Smashed a pick through every panel and window on his work trucks, as well as all the spare tractor and mog sizes tires. Basically tried to ruin his business just because he tried to defend his property against scum. Careful how you proceed.
  16. My tenants, significant other took Kira for a walk yesterday. She has a decent camera in her phone but also the knack for snapping a great picture.
  17. Really? He barely threw a punch the second half of the fight. Joseph boxed clever. Worked him out and knew he would fade as the fight went on. Perfect game plan from Andy Lee. Well done Joseph Parker.
  18. The glitch in the Matrix is finally resolved. When Francis had regained consciousness, the medic asked him his name. He replied ‘Thursday’. Cracking shots from AJ. FTR I love Francis Ngannou and his story. But a professional boxer should always win at boxing against a Novice. Likewise, FN would rip them to shreds if MMA rules were the order of the day.
  19. I’m intrigued. Ill be watching.
