Was a poplar day for me earlier this week. I think it was Wednesday. I removed the 3 over the lines and my mate did a maple and another poplar. All chipped onsite and timber left at 3 metres. Pics are my mate up there as I had finished one of the group I was in. It was forecast for sun but the fog never burnt off.

A friend of mine (back in the day) ordered a book on how to clone someone’s identity and what to look out for from the scammers. The kicker was he opened the account with his old flatmates name and ordered loads of mail order stuff with it.

I mate Jerky with some Venison years ago. Just cut the lump 95% of the way through and flip and repeat. Opens up like a consetina. Place on a tray in the oven and leave in there for a few hours. Oven was really low. I am sure there is a recipe in the net somewhere. It was lovely. It was meant for my lunches at work over the next two weeks. Me and my flat mate pretty much snacked the lot in 2 days.

60 is the new 40. With all the current sports medicine available like Stem cells and Peptides etc, Mike Tyson isn’t your regular guy. He has trained hard and his muscle memory from years of that type of training will have helped him get back in shape. I’ve heard that there are contractual clauses saying that if Tyson wins in certain rounds it will reduce his purse. I have also heard that Mike Tyson is gonna go for the knockout. As for tarnishing his legacy. That remains to be seen. I hope Jake Paul gets kO’d. He lost to Tommy Fury and he is an active boxer with a lot less calibre than MT.

I was up a tree a couple of years ago. Beech prune and two of us were up it. My mate got crowded by wasps and was stung a few times. We never even saw the nest. Within 5 minutes he was feeling a hot flush and dizzy. I told him to get out of the tree. 15 minutes later and ambulance arrived and he had anaphylactic shock. carries an epi pen everywhere now. Joe is about 45 and stung many times as a kid. Only just got a reaction in the tree. He has been stung twice since and just epi pens himself.

I used to make all sorts of kit. I spliced up an extra long cambium saver for a large crane dismantle of a London plane in Blackheath, London. I barely used it afterwards as I soon moved onto SRT climbing. I have a bag full of bits that never get used. I guess it is better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them.

Don’t worry yourself about google images or graphics. The mother of my son’s best friend is probably one of the most knowledgable people regarding climate change I know. She is a lawyer and teaches and lectures at University of Oslo and has given presentations on Climate Change at the G8 Summit in the past. If I need confirmation of something I will give her a shout.

The thing is, Trump is a flippant fool. He knows a little bit about a lot, but not the finer details. He says they are eating cats and dogs in wherever. Koreans eat dogs Haitians eat cat IIRC. It is then reported that he says people are eating cats and dogs down there… Same with the COVID and bleach comments. Again, he was vilified for that statement and if people actually started injecting themselves with bleach then that’s pretty bad. But there is a element of truth in the statement, or at least the chemical components of both bleach and the treatment he was discussing. As I said he is very flippant and the way he speaks is easy to take sound bites and make it come across as it does. Then all the virtual handwringing starts.

Well I guess, at least you answered the question. So you really think Kamala would have stopped the Chinese building, god knows how many coal plants a mo th just to support their desire for all things electric? What did the Dems do about that in the last 4 years, skip 4 and then the last 8 before that? As I mentioned I am not really a Trumper. Or a Republican or even a Democrat. They are just a puppet / party in charge and I think anyone who believe they are the actual ones making the decisions is pretty naive. Money talks. Decisions will be made that make people the most money.

They haven’t been recalled. It is just an advisory to check, if there is a problem then send it back. A recall is a notice that says don’t use, send back immediately etc.
