I have always resented HSE,with all there legislation, treating us all like irresponsible children,i had always hoped that we were ALL already taking proper precautions to protect our health and safety and that of those around us.I know i have. It seems i was wrong and i can NOW see where the HSE are coming from and what they have to contend with. Its just a shame that it has led to so much paper work,so that the responsible majority can prove they are doing what they have always done:thumbsdown:
  3. Only as an alternative to felling in SOME circumstances, some of our oldest and most interesting trees have been butchered in the past. I do not like a black and white atitude, each situation is different
  4. Read it again, that is the tree next door.

Why not be a real man and snort asbestos?
  6. I do plenty council work and have NEVER been asked, but then they never ask me to carry waste,so why would they?
  7. I don't take "waste" away to recycle,i recycle on site with a device called a chipper
  8. These saws do give trouble some times, but they can be sorted, and when they run right theres nothing to touch them. I've been using 020ts or 200ts for 14 years and only had bother with the last 3,which were all sorted same day under warrenty.

Unfortunately that is the kind of attitude that has led to all this legislation. You staff should feel they can come to you if they feel they have a problem and that you will work with them to solve it. With your attitude your staff will just say nothing till the problem is realy bad then they will seek legal advice and sue the arse off you.

I dislike legislation, but that is because i think you can end up with people trying to stay within the law,and not looking at the real problem. We should all be resposible for our own health and safety, and that of those around us. If you use hedge cutters all day you know its not good as you hands feel sh1te,i have bought the new stihl hedge cutters and they are so much better. The pole hedge cutter is realy bad and i only use them for very short periods. One of the good things about having the hiab trailer is not having to do lots of ringing up. I did use the stihl hand held blower and found that to be realy bad and left my hand numb,so i would not use one or ask any one to use one.
  11. You get all that butt, staight as a gun barrel and no one wants it
  12. Thats the one,its the volts that gives you the jolts and the amps that put out your lamps!
  13. Not sure i would call the cops at all.
  14. NO!!!!!!!................................... well maybe a little bit  Seriously, isn't it outrageous that you have go to such lengths because of SCUM!!!!!!
  15. So the dog would go:wave:
  16. Would be quite useful if i had some, could put them on the road on my yard..............so again not waste!
