  2. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Not sure this is true,i have lost count of the number of trees i have felled because,"they might put on a TPO and then we are stuck with them".
  4. Each to there own,we all now our own business best and whats best for us
  5. Are you a fatalist?,all part of Gods plan?,why use good practice to avoid accidents, because if a bad thing happens it was meant to happen:wtf:
  6. Depends on who you work for,if you work for councils ect, they get the VAT back so makes no difference to them. When i bought my mog there was £8k VAT:scared: Most of my competitors are VAT registered so makes no odds even on private work.
  7. I did'nt see any pic's of horse drawn hay wagons?
  8. There are some clever buggers on here.

Cheers! We were on the opposite bank two the trees, so we winched across the river and up the bank, but we did not cloud the water (if the EA are reading)
  10. 1.You can not say from turnover how much profit any one is making. 2.My accountant is not going to do writen quotes,he does do my VAT return, year end,and tax return. I seem to have really upset you by telling you my turnover, sorry, the point i was trying to make was that on your turnover of £85k and four staff you must have very little profit and maybe need to charge more? I only posted my turnover as i run a LTD co so my turnover is availably to any one how wants to know at companys house online.

One of todays job,had to drop every thing then winch it though a stream and up a bank. Left some standing dead wood with coronet cuts, only the third i've done, the last two were very much barts head types, tried to make this one better, using the things i've read and seen on here.
