  1. Most informative, thank you.
  2. Thats what was used before stump grinders:001_tt1:
  3. If you do not wish to use poison, that is the best way to kill a stump, I have recommended it to many customers! I don't understand the problem:confused1:
  4. If a stump is NOT part of a TREE, what is it???
  5. Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. skyhuck

    Lol!

    Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. It is thought that the roots of the tree – situated in the grounds of Moor Allerton Primary School – had died and the wall which had been supporting it crumbled away due to the pressure, leaving it to crash onto the road. The above is taken form Peters link RE the Beech. Had a lot of leaves for a "dead" tree! LOL!!!
  8. Quite right Dean!, and a hair cut wouldn't hurt ether:001_tongue:
  9. I thought you'd appreciate that! Sorry:blushing:
  10. That would probably be about the same cost as two years oil to heat my place:scared1: Big boilers do come up S/H from time to time.
  11. Mine is a Ruffle, they don't make them anymore, but you can get a Farm 2000, I think, which are similar. As for staff:scared1: don't get me started on staff:scared1: more trouble than they are worth, IME.
  12. I run this, no need to cut logs if I can lift it it goes in, like you Ed I don't have the time or want to be cutting logs. I want to change it for a chip boiler in time, don't fancy pellets as I would be dependent on a suppler, with chip its free. I would rather spend a few £K more on a chip boiler and know I don't have to buy my fuel.
  13. That must be a first!!!! Did you have to Google "big yellow disc" to find out what it was?
