  1. No slap some grease on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. So thats why you take so much off when your reduce trees, your just wanting more chip!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. You have a very honest attitude and I like that You obviously realize that trying to use a c/saw from a ladder is very dangerous, BUT to try and over come this you have gone for a saw that can be used one handed, however the circumstance in which it can be use one handed are very special. Using an ms200 one handed so you can use you other hand to try and stop yourself falling off the ladder is not one of those circumstances. Some do use ladders to access the tree, and will cut from the ladder, but they will be wearing a harness and will be fastened in such a way that both hands are free to safely operate the saw, without the risk of falling or losing their work position.
  4. :confused1:You can be electrocuted by a glass porch!!!!!!!! I had no idea!!!!!! I watch out for those in future!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. You have no idea who is reading this, I don't think you should be suggesting any one should take such risks. I would be interested in what your insurers would think of your advice?? (if you have insurance)
  6. Just to clarify this was a sarcasm. If you are even having to consider the power lines, you are too close and should contact the power Co.
  7. Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its no wonder accident figure for saw use are so high. Its just REALLY, REALLY annoying that when you injure or kill yourself, it will go on our industries accident figures, that will bring in a load more red tape that we have to abide by and you seem oblivious to :banghead:
  8. But the flywheel failing would increase vibration beyond the limits of the mounts, causing failed mount symptoms.
  9. Its passed by bitting insects mate, so if hare were susceptible I think they would have wiped them out years ago when numbers were low. I think rabbits only survive because of their ability to reproduce so fast.
  10. I have never seen any with it and the rabbits round here are often whipped out by it. I googled it and most sources say NO I did find a link that said a captive one was thought to have had it, but given how devastating the disease is, I would have thought that if it did affect hare if would have had some impact.
  11. I could be wrong but is that not a mountain hare, hare don't get mixy.
  12. :001_rolleyes:We know!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Give over, you can bounce, BUT don't clash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Glad you got the chipper sorted.

  15. Except for the bent and twisted basket:001_tt2:
  16. I would think once the soil is broken down, worms will get to work and continue the improvements.
  17. But Dean most of us are using grease and have no problems you are using that other stuff and yours has worn out...........................
  18. I still have this if its of interest Flat belt driven saw rack - Arbtalk Classifieds
  19. If it were me, I would get some legal advice (so I would know my rights in every detail) then go see go see the guy. As has been said, you will be entitled to some recompense. I seem to recall that you can demand a refund, but if you allow them repair it once, you have to keep it and allow them to fix it no mater how many attempts it takes, but I'm not sure, so I would take legal advice before your next move.

  21. Welcome Ian, do you mine me asking what the problem was, that made you stop?? I would also be interested on your take on how you think things have changed in the industry in the time you have been away. I have been in the game for around 16 years and know there have been many changes, but when things are changing around you its easy to forget how thing were. I feel sure you will be surprised by the shear number of people you are having to compete with now.
  22. You have PJ's????? Posh bugger!!!!!!!!!!
