  1. I think this must be a regional thing, I've had quite a few inquires in the last week or so, looked at and 3 last night and 4 today. I was taking to another Co owner and he said he was quite busy too.
  2. Is there a shortish alternative route??
  3. The shoot flap drops, causing it to clog up.
  4. Thats Ag-registered, but now runs on white, was on red for years.
  5. :confused1:So its better to inhale more than you need too:confused1: Many are changing to Aspen fuel, so as to reduce the toxin levels of the exhaust emissions. But hay its your health not mine, breath in all the toxins you wish
  6. I know of people who have smoked for 60 years and are fine, but I'm not going to start.
  7. Thats right, your only inhaling it, so I'm sure you'll be fine
  8. I thought I had been done twice, once doing 80mph in a 60mph zone. But I never heard anything.
  9. I had this many years ago. I had a Rascal pickup, it got nicked and when I claimed they asked what I had payed for it, I would not tell them. (I had found a bargain and only payed £600) As I told them if I had paid far more than it was worth they would not give me that and what if it had been a gift??, I would have paid nothing, but would still want it replaced. So they sent an investigator, as they suspected fraud!!! So after he had been I rang them and told them to either get the police involved or pay me my £1000 (as that what it was going to cost too replace it with the same) two days later my cheque arrived.
  10. To be libelous it must be untrue, but how is Steve to know if its true/libelous or not?? If people do exaggerate a Co's troubles, this could cause said Co's troubles to increase, suppliers could withhold much needed goods and services, ect. Such a thread could become a self fulfilling prophecy. I believe there was a case in the US, where some stocks&shares tipsters were found guilty of insider dealing, because they became so we respected that the shares they tipped would rocket, so they could then sell and make a killing.
  11. I enjoyed that, I think any one who really knows the bible would struggle to find fault with the points made by Dawkins. The thing that really struck me, was why the Christian thought that the fear of retribution or desire for heavenly reward was so much better than some evolved response
  12. OK, so god has no creator and was not designed. So a creationist cannot argue that the world is too complex and wonderful to have no creator or designer, as by their own admission they believe that an even more wonderful and complex thing had no designer.
  13. I for one am really enjoying this thread, there are some very good thought provoking post. If we can all stay polite and alloyed offending with personal comments it will hopeful get chance to run its natural coarse.
  14. Does any one know when the law on speeding was changed??? You used to have to speed for a measured mile in order to break the law. You used to be allowed to exceed the speed limit when over taking. Now if you happen to exceed the limit by 2mph as you pass the camera you get done. Speed does kill yes, but an attentive driver in a well maintained car doing 35mph is likely to stop or have slowed dramatically before any impact. A gormless muppet doing 28mph may well still be doing 28mph at the time of impact.
  15. Ring these guys 07881 780012, they are quarry suppliers. They do the cheap Chinese ones, some don't like them, but I'll had no problem.
  16. On the flood, if you believe the bible, the flood took place a little over 7,000 years ago, so those are some mighty quick fossils. I have heard the frozen mammoths used before, thats some what more plausible.
  17. So whats your answer You seem to just be avoiding the question. I like the way you try to make out those who ask are "children" very christen
  18. I would have cut a much bigger gob, to move some weight forward.
  19. I rig almost nothing and dead Elm is so light and takes a step cut great, so I just cut and chuck.
  20. I love dead Elms, my favorite work. Getting few and far between these days. Hard as iron and strong as steel, IME.
  21. :confused1:No takers?????????????? I can't say I'm surprised, creationists are all too vocal until you get to the nitty gritty, then they go all quiet:lol:
  22. Enlightenment is about fact, I try too base my opinions on fact, I am always keen to learn new facts and change my opinion accordingly. When I left my religion, people used the same argument that you are using, but was it not Jesus who said "the truth will set you free". For me truth is its own reward, I do not wish to believe a lie just because it makes me feel good. I was a second generation believer who was truly "infected by my belief structure", if someone had knocked on my door and told me the fairy story I would have laughed at them, but when its your parents who inculcate it into you from birth you are taken in. I think religion is a crutch that some need and some don't, I am quite happy to accept that this is it. Life is like a fair ground ride and when I have my turn I must get off and make room for someone else.
  23. This is the thing I find most depressing about religion. I do the right thing because its the right thing not because of the fear of punishment. And many religions allow for repentance, so you just do as you like and then repent and all is well.
