  1. Fork lift tickets have an expiry date on them. (well my did 20+years ago) This has been brought up a lot in the past and as yet no one has come up with a documented example of insurance being invalid due to lack of refresher training.
  2. Why???? A U1000 is exactly the same as a U1200/U1400 apart from the engine and radiator. I had a 160+HP reconditioned engine and radiator out of a U1500 fitted in my U1000, it was great!!!
  3. I did no such thing, I said what I wasn't, not what other were
  4. No!!!!! its bloody freezing here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Yes loads!! Some of which could hit my home and I CHOOSE to keep and enjoy them, but I am not a Fascist and will not force my choices on others.
  6. I am under no illusion as to how dangerous cars are, in fact I have posted on here countless times that driving to site is the most dangerous thing we do (when people are bleating on about how dangerous our work is ) But like it or not, people have the choice to remove their tree is they so wish and are not prevented by TPO.
  7. If there is a tree that would take out my house and possible kill a member of my family, I may decide its better to remove the tree, even if the chances are very slight. Any defect in the tree increases that risk. Personally I am more interested in the planting of new trees in suitable areas than trying to retain trees in poor condition and in the wrong place.
  8. For buildings obviously, but we are taking about the chances of a person being stuck God it gets boring when people are so thick.
  9. That would be a smart move, IMO. I put a bigger engine in my u1000, it was great, often wish I had kept it. You will need to also fit a bigger radiator. Give A C Price a ring, he has a guy with an arctic low loader who would collect your machine.
  10. What can be done to prevent lightning strikes??????? Nothing!!!!!!!!!!! Trees can and should be managed.
  11. U1000's are not turbo'd.
  12. That would be fantastic mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Cheers Jonny Just had a quick look. Do I pay £70 too join and then pay for the delivery?? Could get expensive for a one off.
  14. I'm buying a ride on mower of F R Jones and Son in London. I was wondering if any one from the north is heading that way to deliver any machinery and would be interested in collecting my mower?? Or are there any couriers that could quote a price for delivering it ?, its to big for a pallet. I'm in Lancashire. Many thanks Dave.
  15. Not bothered about the knife, but please put me down for the above!!!!!
  16. Yes but, any one can cut grass, most people do their own, whereas tree work is dangerous a highly skilled!!!
  17. Is it a retractable lanyard, that works like a seat belt?? Lots of us have thought of this. Reg looked into it, but said it ended up too bulky, although he was using a wire core.
  18. What did you do in the afternoon???????
  19. If its already out there, forget it. You cannot patent the use of something in a particular industry.
  20. It looks fine in the first pic's, but in the last ones a lots gone:001_huh:
  21. You took the wall down!!, thats cheating!!!!
