  1. The thing is we now have hundreds of channels to chose from and TV on demand, so we can literally watch what ever we want, its not as if its this or nothing.
  2. TBH, I would sooner enjoy a pint (or 5) at home with my wife and kids, than in a pub. Since the "widget" was invented and draft beer can be enjoyed at home, some pubs were bound to close. We often go out as a family and enjoy a nice pub meal and a few drinks.
  3. By "not messing with the chipper" you are adding a great deal of weight, you are carrying two trailers instead of one.
  4. I think you are 100% right Dean, just last week me and Todd were working next to a cemetery and were disgusted by the number of people who exercised their dogs there. What is wrong with these people?? How can they not know how wrong it is??
  5. I don't doubt that for a second, but to suggest the police do nothing is simply untrue.
  6. I guess we never got too the moon either
  7. Please read the forum rules.
  8. The certs do not have an expiry date on them, so how can they be "out of date"????? It is true that the HSE "recommend" refresher training, but that does not mean retaking previous training, its better to take another unit, rather than recovering old ground. How many employers who have staff that drive company vehicles put them through driving training and make them resit their test?????????????
  9. It is simply NOT true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched a police camera show just the night where they did a raid on a traveler site and searched all the vans.
  10. Could you offer different loads at different prices??
  11. IMO there is a very good reason why MEWP's have not taken over in tree work, its the fact that a good climber is quicker and more cost effective.
  12. I burn a lot of willow and pop on my boiler (similar to a farm 2000) It keeps my house lovely and warm. I burn most of it green. Could you not heat your own home with it or sell it some one with a boiler?? The fact that you burn it says it all, seems a bit of a waste.
  13. I would never ever lend any one any of my saws, in fact I don't even like groundies starting my saws before they are sent up the tree.
  14. Yes later landys have so called permanent 4wd, but its a bit of a con. They just have a center diff, so only one axle is driven at a time, the old ones were rear wheel drive and when you selected 4wd it engaged the front axle, now when you select 4wd it just looks the center diff so both axles drive. You only ever have one wheel on each axle driving at a time, so only really 2wd, not 4wd.
  15. "Very old 110's" were not perminent 4wd.
  16. Why did you not just remove it and select four-wheel drive?????????
  17. 13 months between my boys 9 months between my farther-in-law and his sister
  18. Weld something to them that you can the get hold of and turn. The heat of welding them helps to get them moving, IME.
