  1. Only if you try to compete and as you said they will go bust, so just leave them to it.
  2. So why worry??? We all had to learn from either under or over pricing, some of us are still learning
  3. Yes but you also said you can just move your rope if its too short, this is bad practice IMO.
  4. If your busy why are you worried about some newcomer???
  5. No, but I'm not telling anyone how long it will take
  6. For 3 men I think your around 50% under price.
  7. Unfortunately, you have not missed the recession, things are still very tough.
  8. Indeed, I think with family graves the top coffin only has has to be 18" under.
  9. If you cut yourself and need to get down ASAP the last thing you want to be doing is moving your rope so that you can reach the deck!!!
  10. Yes but the OP wants to be able to load an arctic, for that you need at least 14' reach hight, so that means a telehandler.
  11. Yes, but if the reduction is an alternative to felling, due to disease, as in the case of the huge Lime, then its worth a try. But I have a problem selling a haircut reduction that will give the customer very little and be back where it was within a few years. But hey we must all do what we feel happy with
  12. Me too!!!!!!!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrAwK9juhhY]The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York - YouTube[/ame]
  13. Nice one!!! Most of us live comfortable lives, my four children want for nothing and are happy and healthy, I'm very lucky!!! If as many of us as possible could spend over £25 on tickets, so many children less fortunate than ours would really benefit!!!! Come on boys, lets dig deep and help these youngsters who have hit hard times just as they are starting out in life!!!!
  14. Most hydraulic splitters are PTO driven.
  15. IME, feed rollers make ahuge difference.
  16. I have read it several times, you reduced your price by 17% in exchange for fast payment, unless you are always in an overdraft costing 17%, you are losing 17%. I really don't get why being paid super fast makes any one better off 90% of my customers pay me as soon as I compete the job, the ones I invoice usually pay in under 30 days, I don't see getting money in as any real issue.
  17. I guess he didn't need to.
