I'm not sure it is. Yes you can see what did happen, but you cannot see what would have happened if you had done things differently. You can surmise and guess about what may have happened had you done this, that or the other, but as those paths were not taken you cannot truly know where they would have lead, IMO

I did a great deal of research when my eldest son was reaching an age where he would begin to be indoctrinated. Its utter nonsense, with some seriously dodgy history. Getting out of that organisation is one of the best things I every did

IMO, if you are happy with were you are right now, you can't wish you could change any of the past, as that would then leave you in a different place today

If I could go back in time I would get into climbing straight from school, rather than at 24, then I could have travelled the world and see so much………………. But then I would not have married my wife at 20 and have 4 children………………… So on balance if I could have my time over, I would change nothing

My eldest girl is adamant thats she joining the firm when she leaves school, she's 12 at the moment, she is more than welcome. Her 19 year old bother already works with me. I have no idea how she will hack it??? I'll be honest I really don't think our industry is suited to most girls, but then its not suited to a lot of guys.
