  1. nope i use a 13/64 for the 3/8 chain and 7/32 for 404 so not the same according to the stihl file boxes
  2. how many cube is there in a 1 ton biulders bag please as i dont use them ive never worked it out ive had an enquiry asking how many cubes, how many biulders bags,how long its been seasoned and the moisture content. Im guessing its a newbie to log stoves or a competitor but who knows never been asked so much info before

  4. 37m will do a 60ft tree to anchorage point so good length imo keep it for bigish trees and use the shorter one for normal every day trees remember its not often your climbing big trees in this country

  6. Just interested on peoples thoughts on joe public jumping on the band wagon to earn some cash cutting the failing ash trees. As my feeling is that the potential increased number of accidents by inexperienced operators it put chainsaw accidents up and then will it affect the insurance premiums? Also its could do us guys out of our wages

  8. have they eaten something ? if mine did that id be thinking secondary poisoning from eating poisoned animals but if youve been to vets then they would have spotted that:) other thing id think is wiels disease not been pesimistic just thinking out loud hope pooches get well soon
  9. yes but if its dried in 2 weeks is it dried but not seasoned if you do the same with softwoods the resin could potentially still be present so therefore its dry but not seasoned
  10. if the spaws are airborne then it would of already spread so on site burning wouldnt work imo. the wood will have to reach a certain temperature to kill the disease so upto that point it will be active in the smoke will it not ?
  11. the dimentions of the trailer are in feet But you want it converting into m cubed right

  16. i planked some oak messed about and got offered not much more than logs so i logged the other oak logs they were 10ft long and about 24inch diameter cant see the point in milling. i wish i could find customers that werenot tight arses
