  6. Cheers Rupe. Ill not be getting the Stein ground helmet as it has the same padding as the climber and thats my problem with that helmet. I think, As you have just said, Im going to go back the old skool and get a husky or equivalent ground helmet.

  8. Got one mate, its not up to EN standard tho, Plus its coverd in baby oil due to the stripping, Would get full of sawdust and get ruined if it used it at work!!

  10. My beef with the climbing helmet is that padding, its incredibly warm, Whats the difference between the ground helmet and the climbing one Yve? If they both have the same padding/protection. Yeah cool, Please PM about being able to swap defenders/visor over tomorrow

  12. Hi Yve, Does it have the same inside padding as the Climbing helmet?? If its not as hot to wear, I may get one, I take it i could just take the mesh visor and my uprated ear defenders off my climbing helmet and stick them on the ground one??

  22. Hes back working ok, Not been back long and its holding up really well, Physio said all the movement that it will get in work should help it, Gets abit sore at night he said but nothing major.

  24. Me being such a health and safety conscious kind of guy these days Im wondering if there is a Hi Viz ground helmet available??? Tried google and the only one i could find was a John deere one in American. Oh, and i know Stein do a hi viz climbing helmet BUT ive got a white stein climber helmet and its not for me, So i want a ground helmet
  25. My mate got his fingers stuck in some Hedge cutters a while back, think he was 5 months off work, Ambulance had to take the cutters apart to free his hand, Said it was horrible as the hex keys wouldnt fit properly because of all the blood.
