we had something similar a few years ago our main complaint was that it couldny hold a pull so was next to useless for pulling trees over as it either pulled or went slack

I see what your saying but if were not carefull all ash trees would have to be removed along with any tree that has been topped or pollarded or had ever had a hanging branch i would always be carefull about making a definitive comment that a tree is dangerous as the owner will always be worried to some people all trees are dangerous

have 3 different ones and no instructions though have had training which is always better have worked on sites with other tree companys and have yet to find one that uses them properly even failed one on a loler inspection due to incorect use GRCS instruction dvd was fairly good though could have been better for how much they are

cheers for explaining that peter its all unfair we have a tractor and a hgv but i have been graded less than a grounds maintenaice tractor driver in fact if i went pushing a mower i would be 2 grades higher the best one we have heard of is a manual road sweeper is graded higher than a gulley wagon driver or a hgv bin wagon driver but hopefully will all get sorted out at appeal even the head of service is bemused and backing our appeal
