  2. best tip of the day dont work with men with more than 2 dogs they work you to death get your saws stuck blunt every saw you own then never get round to pay up
  3. i know a guy that has punched several holes in roads ME we have even used cranes on 2 occassions just to not have to fell stems onto roads as the damage would have been more than a crane for a day there is a difference between cars driving down a road and a 10 ton tree falling and pushing a 6inch stub down thoughroads are a lot stronger than pavements

  5. my store at home is pallets on the floor and sides with a proper roof and they dry very quick as no rain but air gets to them

  7. i try to keep them informed of expected start dates and try to be realistic without fobbing them off 5 weeks ago i told a customer approx 7 to 8 weeks away and rang him on sat with an eexpected date of 2 weeks on thursday and i think he was glad as he had been wondering
  8. we have a at least 2 of every colour vents they do and will not buy another black one even though i have 2 black ones and think it looks nice would rather stand out than look nice it is good if lads have different colours as you can easily tell which is which at a glance as some groundies behave different to others if you know what i mean especially new boys and nuppets

  20. we have had some long runs with 3 tree teams working and not had a problem certainly 200metres have got some on tuesday will see if it says anywhere
  21. they are absolutely brill IMO no more wires to damage easier to set up lighter no bulbs to blow no cranking that damn handle Batteries last a while new set with fully charged batteries last a good week on days worst set was about 3 days easy to charge though you can only do 1 set at a time units have volt metres and when they get to 11.75 we charge them as we found below 11.5 sempt to be reduced distance and problems hope this helps
